Not sure that is accurate. The Pro is on the Oppo UK store for sale and non-Pro to follow. It is believed the Ultra may not be available outside China. Guess rumours can change though.

I'm so attached to my Huawei P30 Pro I'm having a hard time to replace at some point in time. I've had mine since 2019 release and it still works like a charm. If I were to replace it it would probably be this or the Pro version, even though I like the smaller phone size for my hands.

Because Apple made that design for the iPhone 4 on 2010 and ended it with iPhone 5s (2013). It was so good even Apple apply it again few years later with the iPhone 12 at 2020, onwards, until now.

Maybe I should rephrase it like this, "back in 2013 iPhone made it so popular to the entire world with iPhone 4, hence the iPhone-esque"? Nice review. It's a solid alternative in the premium lower-price sector. It's a shame it won't come to the UK, as at £750, it would have sold well-£300 less than the Pro. Ultimately, all the latest new releases have been iterative, and we have reached peak smartphones in the last 12 months. Nothing that stands above the crowd, and as all rivals will also get these new 3nm chips, then even performance and efficiency is much of a muchness. As a Find X5 Pro owner, I am impressed with the software once you set it up. This will get four years of Android updates (five for the Pro), which will do for most. The Pro it is for me then...

@@DayVB007 That's the global version and has no warranty. Not worth it. I bought the UK version of the Pro yesterday and it will work out around £680. I will sell the smartwatch 'gift' on ebay for £250, there is also no seller fees. They sell for £300 in 'Completed' listings, so I know it will sell for that price. So £245 profit less postage. I then have a "bought" student email address that I used to get 10% student discount. And then Quidco for 2.5% cashback (confirmed). Price was: £944.1 (10% student discount) - £21.24 Quidco cashback - £245 Oppo Watch X sale via ebay = final price of £678. That is a very fair price for the Pro, it's the UK edition and I have full warranty.

What phone you're using tho'? And how do you feel about it? Have you compared the variable refresh rate with non variable refresh rate display setting?

Same here, I've heard that if it's around the same price the oneplus 13 is better in terms of Battery, Display and Gaming Performance and the rest are generally the same. You do lose out on ColorOS and that Iphone Oppo Handshake thing which seems to be pretty nice if you have an ipad.

Just buy whatever available to you. Vivo's X200 series are great as well. I'm eyeing for one, but i guess it's not coming to my country as the X100 arrived very late (launched globally Nov 2023, launched in Indonesia Jun 2024). We don't have OnePlus here, and RealMe still yet to announce the GT7. But we have iQoo 13 tho, but the camera is far less comparable to it's older brothers (Oppo and Vivo). I think it's just the BBK group strategy to devide the market for it's devices through their brands, coz it's starting to overlap each other. Conclusion is: just buy whichever is available in your country.

Massive downgrade compared to the x6 pro in terms of camera hardware, the x6 pro had the 1 inch IMX989 sensor plus 2 x IMX890 (1/1.56 in size) for ultra wide and telephoto, this x8 pro downgraded to the lyt808 which is much smaller at 1/1.4 in size, and the other 3 sensors are also smaller (1/1.95 for the telephoto, 1/2.51 for the second telephoto, and 1/2.76 for the ultra wide), the Vivo x200 pro is much better camera wise

Most videos ive watched says the cameras on the x8 are amazing. The sensor might differ but the software is a lot better. Im pretty sure the end result is better than pretty much anything from 2 years ago

@@CaptainCorobo maybe, but combining better hardware (such as a larger sensor) with software processing will always be superior to a downgraded sensor + processing, going from 1 inch to 1/1.4 is a pretty big step down, and OPPO could have at least picked the LYT T808 sensor (which is the stacked CMOS sensor featured in the Xperia 1 V and 1 VI) over the one featured in OPPO x8 pro which is LYT 808 (non stacked version/variant of this sensor)

I think having the Honor Magic 6 Pro or having the Oppo Find X8 Pro will be the same thing and I even think that the Honor Magic 6 Pro will be superior at least in the artificial intelligence part and features, I'll start with the mistakes I made. I had a OnePlus 12 since March that was excellent in everything. I sold it and bought the Oppo Find X8 Pro. The Chinese version is very annoying. Notifications don't appear on the lock screen even with everything activated and the battery issues are also disabled. Others, for example, Breno, only appear in Chinese. Writing with Chinese AI is the same thing. It doesn't even have English or Portuguese. Voice by AI only speaks in Chinese. Payments in Chinese only work if it's with Google Pay in English or Portuguese. In the help and comments section, Chinese, live alerts, Chinese capsule. Do we want a phone to use half in Chinese and English or with everything that we can use in our language? Another thing is that the Oppo Find X8 Pro in the UK costs £1049. The same phone, global version, at Wonda Mobile or Average Tech Dad costs £870. The Honor Magic 6 Pro with a discount on the official website costs £649. So what are the advantages of having the Oppo Find X8 Pro, even if it is global, or having the Honor Magic 6 Pro, which is cheaper? I see that in terms of features, perhaps the Honor Magic 6 Pro will win. The Honor Magic 7 Pro comes with a price tag of £1090 and it will make little difference to the Honor Magic 6 Pro.

The smart phone has reached its peak, if you want the best value and smart about your money, you should get the previous flagship of the same series to save some money as they would perform good as well. The newer flagships.are mostly small incremental upgrade only. The previous flagship usually goes for at least 30 to 40% discount once the newer phones are released.
