Besides Angela's bad character in this series, I feel like we have a lot to learn from her. I love the fact that the writer of this script didn't sugar-coat her character. Because that's exactly how some people are in real life... they may have a million reasons as to why they behave the way they behave but that doesn't take away the fact that acting in bitterness and anger towards other human beings does not take you anywhere in life. I'm yet to understand why Angela is so bitter with her own family members, for starters we can see that growing up, she felt abandoned by her own mother, so that's why she's so detached with people in her family... on the other hand, this also teaches us to work hard for our own money because 90% of us have characters like Angela in our lives and we can never count on them to change our lives... brings me to the point of entitlement. As Africans, we should stop being entitled to people's blessings... if someone is doing better than you and they are not willing to help you in anyway, that's on them. Don't take it personal. Because at the end of the day, we all get to receive our portions from God. So let people just be.... All in all, at the point where we have reached in this series, I can't tell whether I really dislike this Angela character or not, because despite her bad behaviours as it may appear to the audience, she still makes a lot of sense about the things that she complains about. E.g the bit of her feeling used by her cousin... keep in mind she now suspects that her own husband may be cheating on her with her own cousin... the other bit of the siblings not paying her a visit... they wait for something bad to first happen before they think of her... when do they get to build a relationship with someone whom you only talk to during your bad times???... The only off-side thing I've seen her do in the series is her accusing her mother in-law of juju, that wasn't right, and her misleading her own cousin into Ruth's business... apart from that, she's truly a chara😢cter we should all learn from 🤌... Oh and about the bit of how she treats her house managers, well for starters we can see that her husband is always backing her up, he's never against her choices of what she does with their house managers meaning he's very much aware.... secondly, I mean it's her house, and she knows how best to manage it... if she was really as bad a boss as most peoole misjudge her, those helpers would have already quit on her... but to show that her manners are tolerable, they stay and even enjoy the show 😂 with her. The bit of her separating food from them, I mean it's Kampala, for those who dont know how heavy some house bills are, you would never understand why they chose to do what they chose to do with their helpers. As you can see at the beginning of episode 17 that both partners are in agreement and according to them, they feel what they have done is so right... and so be it 👌... it doesn't mean that you are in humane, it simply means you are living under a budget. Periodttt... business people will understand better this concept...
