Dr Ley is the true monster, why would they let that woman back in their lives? SMH

The actor who plays Toby is amazing brilliant:)His childhood was awful tho his anger hatred wanting to kill Mitchell was wrong and Lisa was murdered.Trusting this doctor is bad idea Toby will get worse.

I thought she was dead. Wtf 🤬why call her ?! She’s the reason he’s like this ! Wtf Celeste?! Get another therapist! Dr Ley should be in jail! How the hell is she not in jail? No hell no ... she abused him ... she wants to correct her mistakes? 27 years too late. Another book... I knew it. What was Celeste thinking?

It makes no sense why celeste, out of all therapists, would call the same one that experimented on him. I mean how ridiculous and stupid is that?
@EM-wz6cu3 жыл бұрын
@@oOmary1389oO because she knows how to deal with him
@Tvjunkieful123 жыл бұрын
@@oOmary1389oO This whole SL is stupid. Absolutely nothing of it is even remotely plausible. Had Toby`s case been real - there was a Swedish case last year where a mother had held her son locked in for decades, but not as an experiment, the tragic reasons were of a psychological nature - because the underlying reasons are so obvious, having him inside a room with the woman who abused him, would have been a recipe for disaster. Toby should have been helped by another therapist, and he should be treated outdoors in the open, where he felt free and there was very little that reminded him of, or took him back to, his childhood incarceration nightmare. Toby`s problem is built up anger, and frustration of having been robbed of his childhood, and as a consequence feeling left on the outside looking in on society and life. He doesn`t have the necessary codes to function properly. Similar to a child taking his first steps, he stumbles and falls often whenever he tries to connect to other people and build relations with them. This frustrates him, and this frustrations triggers his painful memories from his childhood, he gets angry and explodes uncontrollably. The solution is to help him rebuild his life and grow confidence in himself, and at the same time relocate the energy he uses when being angry into something else, and more useful and helpful for him. Anything from running to boxing will do, and his progress there will help give him confidence which can be used to build up other aspects of his life too. The more you manage to direct his focus away from what is painful and provokes anger and frustration in him, in favor of something which require as much energy as the angry outbursts, but at the same time gives him a feeling of both achievement and control over himself and his life, the better he will feel, and the less likely of having his anger getting the better of him he will be. But before you can get him there, he has to trust you. Building up trust between therapist and patient is key to a successful treatment. Instead of having Toby closed inside a room - risking he could be reminded of his childhood trauma - I would have taken him to a nice park or field. Brought with me a sack full of footballs, placed them in a line on the grass, and told Toby that every time I asked him, or said, something that upset him, he should not get angry, just kick one of the balls the hardest he could - and I would not mention something similar again. That way I would have enabled him an off switch to what he found painful, which wasn`t violent or so angry he scared people away. Over time, instead of having the footballs, teaching him to move his head one way or the other when he wanted me to not pursue a subject, or in a different way should he be okay about talking about something, would have allowed him to steer away from painful topics without having to ressort to violence or displaying anger. These are signals those of us having grown up surrounded by other people both give out and recognize subconsciously, but which someone in Toby`s situation - having been locked up away from other people for 15 years - would not have acquired. For someone like Toby it is so simple, if you take the pain away - you also remove the anger. But that pain he can only remove himself, by discovering other things in life which gives him more than dwelling on his pain and trauma. All you can do is offer support and guidance. He himself has to decide what he wants out of life, and he himself has to find the energy and resolve needed to get there.
