IM On Smoken BOY. I feel that his P.R. races were impressive and his SIRE is UP and coming CATHOLIC BOY. I personally feel PRACTICAL JOKE is a great sire and C>Boy will start to get recognition.

Practical Joke - Strong sire! And Smoken Boy is fascinating here. He definitely outclassed Camarero but the question is whether he can immediately jump into a graded stakes race. I have my doubts but I'll be paying close attention.

Nothing ever comes out of Tampa Bay and does anything in Kentucky..still a fun good betting race.

Easy there Phil! I feel like the last two years Litigate and No More Time would have made it to the Derby if it were not for injuries. I liked both horses coming out of the Tampa Bay circuit. But in general you are correct -- last 5+ years have been dry. This crop does look better to me though. Poster and Treaty of Rome I think could make it Kentucky in May.

@TrustTheProphets I meant no disrespect...there are definitely some horses with upside potential..Time will tell...for what it's worth.....nothing..I am intrigued with smokem boy....sneaky good trainer and rider.maybe a good across the board type investment. Catholic boy was a serious race horse on both dirt and turf..others appear more likely but I'm just trying to think out of the box ..he probably hasn't faced the competition he will tomorrow but this trainer isn't stupid and wouldn't enter if he didn't think he had something....thanks for your reply...good luck..I hope you knock it out of the park...

I'd love to see some West Coast horses run in a decent sized field. Other than BC Juv its been a lot of 5 and 6 horse runs.
