The danger is you cannot plant the corn seed. You need to buy corn seed from a specialized corn seed producer; most probably Monsanto. So if one American seed supplier cannot supply us maize seed we cannot plant. What happens in the event of an embargo or war then we all will die of hunger. One main reason I like to travel to Nigeria at least every two years is to eat Nigerian food. American food have no taste. Whenever I leave Nigeria going back to America, I panic about going back to eat American good.
