i didnt put that in my list, because i didnt get it in 2021. As far as i know, it hasnt been wide released at retail yet, nor has it shipped from any major online retailers. So I can't judge it.

Great Video Mike. I actually agree with most of your top 10 except for my number 1 spot and Koska Reeves. I actually liked Bo Katan better. But that could also partially be character bias. My number 1 weirdly enough would be Clone Wars Anakin. I don't know why but I just love that figure. Anyway. Once again great video and I hope you have an awesome 2022. :)

Agree with everything you said. Quick fix for bad batch Rex is to put the hood up on his head before you put the helmet on...makes it fit.

Thanks Mike entertaining as ever. I agree about Dark Side Rey's traffic cone robes. Soft goods are sometimes the way. I think I would probably put ARC Trooper Echo up in the top spot, multiple weapons and a removable helmet with a great head underneath. Fennec Shand has to be near the top. Aurra Sing (in your top 15) I like the look of but it has the abominable Y-Jointed hips. A belated Happy New Year.🙂

Great video, Mike! The one figure I absolutely love and kinda got snubbed by most channels I watch is Darth Maul sith Apprentice. The legs kind of suck but that face sculpt is truly menacing.

With Tech, at first, I thought it was just Hasbro being cheap and not wanting to pay for the glasses, but then Funko just realized their Bad Batch unmasked 5-pack nad he also doesn't have them, so I think there's got to be somebody at Lucasfilm telling these companies to not include the glasses.

I passed on Boba for $15 at a local shop to my regret. 10) Aurra Sing, 9) Jar Jar, 8) Crosshair, 7) Tech, 6) Wrecker, 5) Hunter, 4) Koska Reeves, 3) Deluxe Cal Kestis, 2) Asajj Ventress, 1) Bo Katan. The thing about Imperial Crosshair is I wish he was more screen accurate instead of a repaint of the original. Also because of the scratches and battle damage, he doesn't match as well with the Elite Troopers or other Imperial troopers

Agree with most of the list. Rex just felt like a pointless figure to include in the BB wave. If they weren't going to update the sculpt like removing the pin joints, there was no reason to do anything other than reissue him in the clone wars or archive series. The visor did look cool though, and I assumed it was a season 2 thing they put in, but the soft goods cloak was terrible. Its the same as the elite squad trooper, it doesn't feel like it suits the BB series with the other characters being updated sculpts and them using the pin joints. Tech should have had removable glasses as an accessory to address the helmet issue. I'd have sacrificed some of the tools for the glasses if it was a cost issue. Bad Batch was a mixed bag sadly for releases. Wish they'd fix the Hunter forearm hole since I'm sure they'll reuse the sculpt for other commandos in the future like RC38. It just feels really lazy and cheap even for Hasbro Typhon Boba is great, even if the robe is the wrong color. I must have gotten lucky as I never had the helmet issue with my Rotj Boba. The accessories are weird, but as long as they work with future Book of Boba Fett versions I'm happy with them. It just makes you confused why the throne room deluxe figure didn't include anything like that when Boba is one of those characters you can do a lot with for accessories And happy belated new year~

The Jedha Patrol Stormtrooper has to be one of the best stormtroopers with the new Molde. First off he is both screen and reference book accurate. Secondly the backpack steal the show. The fact that he not weighed down by it is perfect. Lastly if you paint or switch his dlt19 rifle with a black one the figure shines. Overall, I would give it a solid 9/10. Also I enjoyed your ranking fam🔥🔥🔥

Is the helmet on this one a stiffer plastic then the first Mandalorian Stormtrooper release? I LOVE the new mold but the warping issues in the first batch was a turnoff. I heard they've switched to a harder plastic on newer stormtroopers to fix that original problem but i've not watched a reviewer confirm that.

Great job. My 1st take away is I was able to Dodge bullets (not being a completionist? all of your worst figures I passed on. Basically because I saw your reviews and they were valid complaints. I like your top 10 I would have put Obi-Wan a little higher. But I love seeing people's top 10. Great job. If echo had any battle damage paint would you have placed him higher?

Really can’t argue with the list. Mind you, it kinda feels BS had a bit of a dry spell - but Hasbro did say they wanted to put more effort into the Vintage Collection for a while (although 99 figures? Doesn’t seem like that - although we’re still waiting on the most recent couple of waves here in Australia). Speaking of - Black Series sourcing has really fallen into the toilet lately here. If it wasn’t for Zing grey importing them (Zing = GameStop BTW) there would almost zero at retail. My biggest regret was not picking up Echo, now my chances are zero given that wave had such a limited release here.

I'm personally starting to get out of Star Wars figures, I just think they're getting too expensive, too hard to get, and the quality really isn't there for me personally. However, I think that ROTJ Boba Fett figure is amazing! Hands down the BEST figure in the entire line. I haven't been able to out him down all year, so much fun, great articulation, great sculpt and paint, looks just like he did in the movie, amazing. Clone Wars Obi Wan, Assaj Ventress, Hunter and both versions of Crosshair and Echo are all great too!! The rest that I've picked up this year, after I got them in hand, I just didn't care. Although I still don't have the newest wave yet, or Wrecker. Loved the video!

You mentioned Imperial Crosshair figure was black. That's not very accurate tho, he's a greenish color and not very screen accurate. I do love his design but they definitely dropped the ball on his color.

Good list. I haven’t really put together top ten for BS. I did a quick five. Wrecker is in it. I’m not sure of order. Hasbro/Lucasfilm’s weird azz limit to extra hands is dumb. It’s actually more than that. It’s a disconnect they have with fans of their product. Fists. Any BS figure who should have had fists to interchange is Wrecker. Besides Crosshair, all of the Batchers should have had places on their gear to stow their weapons. Hallow out those back packs it’s they aren’t going to be useful. Save some plastic. My pack in Tech won’t stay on. The weight and crappy connection point make it fall out all the time. Hey Hasbro, come on! Assaj Ventress is amazing! Clone Wars Obi Wan is nearly perfect…Force pushing hands please…I love Echo. It’s a top five for me. Fennec Shand is also top five. Nomad Fett us top ten. I might put Ponda Bob and Dr. Evanzee the two drinking buddies with Bib Fortuna’s cups in my top five. Just a couple dumb azz guys who make the wanted list because they are wrong place wrong time. No way these guys are criminal masterminds. No way. Good stuff.

Zalbar is not only the clear worst figure of the year. He is very high on the list for worst figure in the line. Just a lazy, lazy effort that screams that it is a a $20 toy. The figure screams it, the accessories scream it. It’s just a bad effort all around.

I have to say ROTJ Boba was in my worst/should have' criteria. The helmet issue was bad enough but not a show stopper, the slightly too bright colours weren't, on their own, a show stopper, the pointless thread on the grapple is not a show stopper, but combine those issues with wrongly placed knee joints it becomes an absolute f-up of a figure. The legs fulcrum points bend at the upper calf area, NOT the knee area, and the more you bend his legs the weirder it looks with a long thigh and short shins. I honestly don't get how everyone doesn't see it, I've never see a single reviewer mention it yet, as a professional sculptor, it's so clearly obvious to me once you start to pose him. It's an absolutely unforgiveable design flaw that looks godawful in anything but standing poses. Completely spoiled the figure for me. I don't know how it got through the design process like that.

Ventress and Obi Wan are my favorite figures of the year, beautiful realization of animated characters. Clone Commando Boss is bottom, worst clone Hasbro's ever made. The clone commandos in Bad Batch, EA's BF2, and the OG game are big and bulky, they're like tanks. Hunter is a mutant, he's much slimmer then the regs, so to reuse his fig for Boss is not just grossly inaccurate but works against the point of Hunter's entire character that leads him on the journey of the show, he's different lol.

The only problem with your list is that due to shipping issues most of these are 2022 releases. Even though they were announced and made available for pre-order you shouldn’t include figures that aren’t being delivered yet... so really your list is not relevant for another six months lol. I’ve seen most of the reviewer’s doing this including figures they have but the majority of collectors don’t. It definitely keeps me away from most reviews.

End of the year is always super hard to judge for releases. That's made 100x worse this year because of shipping delays with ports. Because of those, a lot of 2021 releases got pushed back to 2022. And, yes, some releases scheduled for 2022 were released in 2021. Although, it's very clear that the Boba Fett (tython) wave was originally supposed to be in 2021 and Hasbro had to push a lot of releases back because of those delays. I decided to include them for a few reasons. The two biggest reasons are that they absolutely have been found in stores at both Walmart and Target, and they have shipped from a major online retailer. I understand not everyone will have had them in 2021, but for me, getting them in early December, i decided it wasn't close enough to 2022 to delay talking about them for a whole year. But everyone's list is different. Everyone's experience is different. Also, most of them? only 3 figures from the latest wave on in this list which includes 20 figures. That's not even close to "most of my list".

Surprised you put Imperial Crosshair above regular Crosshair considering the Imperial one is a literal repaint of the regular one and is inaccurate
