It'd be cool if a client would allow you to film an entire guide trip and post it on here. I think we could all learn from that. From targeting the fish in different weather conditions, to how you interact and teach your techniques. On-water videos are always the best. We put pressure on ourselves just fun fishing, I could imagine the pressure you put on yourself trying to show someone what a good day of bass fishing feels like.

You just got a new subscriber. I started a guide service here in San Diego 3 years ago. I can relate entirely to having to adapt and how stressful it could be. Working around clients abilities is definitely the most challenging aspect. Not everyone can cast accurate enough and most of the time it truly does make a difference. Having only 4hrs can make it even more challenging. But even then, I love it entirely hahah

When you gonna be in the shop bro? Recently moved to NC and have property in Franklin and Hendersonville. I pass your shop all the time and would love to stop in when you will be there. Hopefully I can meet you soon. Until then, tight lines and keep doing what you're doing.

Good video! As long as you live what you are doing that is all that matters! Watching your videos and the way you react to a big fish is priceless! It shows you love your job! Hoping some day I can drive the 2 hours and pay for the guide service with you! I need to build some confidence on big swimbaits!

Keep up the good work man. Too bad your baseball dream got smashed. My Blue jays could use a guy like you. It happened to me with Hockey. Unreal how our lives are closely matched. Cheers pal

Some people have lofty wishes, Not even realistic. You have to set expectations even though they might not like it. Costs- You have to raise prices everything has gone up. Gas is a huge expense right now. Fishing guides I know have a tough but great job. If your a good guide you can do ok money wise but it also has a bunch of risk. Especially with boat , truck etc.

Quality will always cost more. People get what they pay for. Just saying. If you can make 95%of your customers happy you're doing good. I guided on Lake Lure in the 90's and early 20's until they required a commercial permit. It was crazy. My mind set was how can I put Roland Martin and a 6 year old on fish. This was because all skill levels. I understand.
