This is an honest review on dua fragrances. I don’t like to see people get deceived or misled . Some of their fragrances are amazing and others are very poor and disappointing. Some are an oily mess. All I see online is positive reviews and people like mega Dave never have a bad thing to say. So I wanted to give both sides and speak the truth. This video was inspired by some words by redollesence which shocked me. He said in one video I have had many of their fragrances but I’ve only reviewed the ones I enjoyed. That means all the ones that were bad he didn’t say anything about and many were bad. Is that fair and helpful to his followers?

I read from their Facebook page that one person sprays the bottle a couple times and then puts it into the refrigerator if they come with that burnt smell. Apparently that clears it right up and then the maceration just makes it better from there. Worth a shot

I own 61 Dua frags and some are based on such rare and expensive originals that I could never know what they really smell like. Many I didnt like at first but later they grew on me. This is the most honest Dua review I've seen and I've seen many! Your 100 point rating system gives more clarity to your review also. Make more videos please!

Great honest review my guy. I appreciate your opinion of the Dua fragrances that you own. I have about 6 Dua fragrances, so far. I haven’t purchased one that I don’t like yet. I’m not gonna say they are all mind-blowing or beast mode, but the scents are really good-to-outstanding. Funny thing is, I bought a fragrance called Zeus’ Matrix. When I first smelled it, it didn’t really care for it much. I tried it again about 2 weeks later. My experience was MUCH different. The opening is a little rough still, but the mid is very pleasant. The dry down is so magical, that I thought I was wearing a different fragrance. I do want to try the Dua Reflection though. I have a bottle of Amouage Reflection Man. I love the scent of it, but the performance is very weak on my skin. I only get about 4-5 hours...which I was hoping to get at least 7. Good luck with the channel. Holla.

Their copy of Invasion Barbare was awful an oily mess, however, their version of Alex 2 is spot on, I couldn't tell the difference between my original Xerjoff bottle. I've also had success with Iconic and Poseidon's Elixir 2.0 . A great video mate, thank you.

thank you for your support and your comment. yes I tried the invasion and it smelled bad but tbh i haven't smelled the original to compare. Elixir 2.0 was decent but I only sampled it once. how does it perform? and how close would you say it is to aventus? is mod 3 any good

@@alfredolopez3979 Poseidon elixir was very strong. I got compliments every time I wore it to work, even from strangers. I finished the bottle now unfortunately, and had it for a couple of years ago had matured. I haven't smellt original Aventus for ages, bit it had the same effect scene wise, just a little more fruity.

I always appreciate people leaving any kind of echo-chamber in order to stick their neck out in the quest to spread honest views and new information for the purpose of education and balance in a public conversation. Thank you. The reason I clicked on your video here is because I went to DUA's UK distribution site, Scent City and was overwhelmed by their enormous library of fragrances-- I had no idea where to begin. I never see DUA covered with much enthusiasm, if at all, in the niche fragrance "community" so that's also noteworthy. But the main red flag for me was the sheer volume of fragrances they make. Any house with that many fragrances just waves a huge red flag for me. I worry about the quality of ingredients and mastery of blending behind such a huge amount of fragrances kept on a permanent rota.

@@alfredolopez3979 I don't buy from clone houses on principle but I acknowledge the fragrance industry is WAY more complicated than the average layperson-outsider would assume. I highly recommend Gabe's book 'The Ghost Perfumer' to EVERYBODY. He's prone to some oddball tangential flourishes and generally odd style to his writing but it's crammed full of juicy information that truly opened my eyes. WOW!! Highly recommend as 'bathtub' read. Your water will be cold before you want to put it down, it's that full of industry dirt. Keep up the great work with your channel Alfredo, love hearing from anybody with a strong character and a confident, developed personal aesthetic.

Hello, My opinion about dua is that they are good fragrances. I have had the opportunity to compare the original perfume with the inspiration and I can say that in the case of Alexandria II, the inspiration is practically the same, the same with Victorian which is the clone of Naxos 1861, the same with Creed Green Irish tweed, Hacivat, Hade's Elixir which is the inspiration of Black Afghani (this one is a monster is better than the original), etc. I have more than 70 fragrances and I would say that the resemblance of the inspiration with the original in my opinion is around 95-98%. And I'm not a KZbinr.

Mostly of the reviewers about DUA Fragrances are positive because they get free DUA fragrances. I have few DUA and some went to the trash. I just got Flaship and is ok, Caribbean Waters repulsive coconut and sugar (trash) Black Widow almond and vanilla (trash) , the Mobster in Havana ok, Victorian give away the best and my wife loves is Aphrodisiac. Great review and few are honest. It will saved a list of money to people to hear reviews like you.

I recently purchased a bottle of poseidon cologne.And everyone told me give it time to macerate because I said on initial spray it smelled very close to club de nuit intense man. I was very disappointed because of all the hype. and club de nuit is very cheap. I will give it time.

Just purchased Dua’s clone of Ganymede. I also have a bottle of Ganymede, one of my favorites in my collection. The Dua version is a bit sweeter, close to 90/100 accuracy, and sweeter. Although it’s not an exact clone, Dua’s version is now my favorite of the two.

Duas are hit and miss, but most smell great and are "beastmode" fragrances. I have 20 bottles of Dua and they're all great. I have 15 samples and didn't like 1 of them: Shadow Play / Oud for Greatness clone. Many seem to love it for some reason, but I don't. As for reviews, they declined one of my reviews too but it was a glowing review. I think its just their system might not update sometimes because most of my reviews have been posted, good or bad.

I bought shadow play and don't like it either. It just doesn't smell right to me. I bet the original smells better. That's one of the problems with clones is that they're often trying to make it smell like the fragrance they're cloning, and sometimes it's close but doesn't actually smell balanced or very good in general. In the same order I also purchased Alpha Aoud and it's great! I love it

I can say that shadow play does smell almost identical to OFG but the opening in Shadow play is too loud and abrasive for me and it makes me not like it at all. I'm trying to sell my bottle as we speak. Oud fragrances are just not for me.

If you smell that burnt smell put it in the fridge overnight the next day it’s gone. Dua makes very unique fragrance they are famous for they gourmand😩😍❤️🙂

I appreciate your video, as honest reviews are always rare. I have bought 8 fragrances from DUA, and have mixed opinions about them. I generally find their citrussy fragrances to be very good (I have: Acqua Solaris, Pomelo and Best 22 Shades of Citrus) and long lasting. Others, I either gave as a present (Green Valley and Start Your Engines) or threw away (Celsius). Anyway, they all smell chemical and artificial. I don't think I'll buy more of their fragrances, except some citrussy; but this is just personal tastes.

I have several duas. I have to say, "thanks Mahsam Raza for me to have the opportunity to smell something that I wouldn't have the opportunity to smell if dua wouldn't exist (sorry for my English, I'm from Spain)". Having said that, did you macerate your Victorian? As far as I can understand, you have those duas for a week... Is 10/100 rating still valid in your opinion for Victorian? I say this because it happens to me that some of the duas that I have, before to macerate them, they have something weird in their own nature (iconic, sour peach and others), but now, two months later, they are stellar...I would like to hear from you. Btw, not all duas I have, are nice to me (matrix). Thanks for the vid.

My first purchases from DUA were "Essence Of Water" a fantastic clone of the now discontinued "Essenza" by Armani, it last about 12-16 hours. The other was their own creation "Ways Of Water" which is a sophisticated manly scent unlike anything I've smelled before but the women in my family loved it!👍👍

So far I got water of arabia I received it let it macerate for 3 weeks wow all I can say it's 98 or 99 percent close to creed silver mountain water I love it it's projection and longevity it's beast mode

I really appreciate your honesty. I lost trust with Dua when I bought one of their hyped fragrances only to find that it smelled so crude and unrefined. Luckily I was able to resell it, but I, of course, lost money. I also think they like to overuse that "let it macerate" excuse. In my experience, even after letting the fragrance sit for almost a year, the smell and performance were still awful. I wish I had ran across this video before making my own purchase from them. The fact that you can't even trust their reviews on their website was another red flag that i saw, but originally excused. I don't plan to purchase from them again.

Today i smelled a fragance from this company it was called casino royal, im very picky when it comes to colognes but tht casimo royal fragance i smelled it was amazing. The guy i smelled it on said it was a hybrid of to fragances.

An exception can be if they give the product away after the review. I've seen AK Operator's Union give away guns that he received free, after doing the review, for example. Or, if the reviewer has a strong background of non freebie reviews and a freebie is a rare review. Someone with a credible background isn't going to sell their reputation for a one off review. Also, there are some review products that are on loan, not given. Obviously, that's not the case with something like cologne. I mentioned it because I've seen this "he got it free" logic applied to watch reviews where it a loan for the review and not kept by the reviewer.

About Dua reviews: I’ve written several reviews and my reviews have appeared without fail within 5 days of posting them. I should also mention that I am American with a common Hebrew name that you’ll find all over America. Just so you know, American names are generally Biblical names derived from Hebrew and a lot of us share common names like Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, Simon, etc. It’s because of the Christian heritage here. I think it's based on what you like in perfumery. I don't like too smooth fragrances that's why I love DUA! I do actually prefer attars and perfume oils. So DUA is perfect for me. I have over 20 of their fragrances and I love them all.

Poseidons elixir 13ZZ was gifted to me and it was terrible. I personally have a better alternative that more closely resembles the 2013 Aventus it’s trying to clone.

DUA is overpriced and only worth it when it clones very expensive niche colognes. But I seen some very dumb people buying dua's clone of nautica voyage, sauvage etc. Those fragrances are way cheaper if you buy them original

the only way dua fragrances are worth it is if youre goung after niche expensive fragrances but for regular designer fragrances which most can be had below 100.00 dua is not worth it 50 dollars for 30 ml is not a good deal i dont care how close they are to the original now if youre talking 300.00 fragrance and dua is lets say at least 90% close then the 30ml price is way better than the designer price, for me i stick to the real thing let the dua fanclub enjoy their overprice 30 ml imitations
