Whatever you say about Nehru, I can find the same no of negative points for any PM including the current one. No one is 100 percent perfect. He wanted social freedom first (he wanted freedom but delayed one). EVR was a different kind of person. He was never consistent. He was once a Congressman who was also an adherent Gandhi follower who participated in the freedom movement as well. Later he started to portray himself as a communist supporter (more of a Russia centric.. he also toured Russia). His publication house only published Bahat Singh's diary in Tamil. (So till then nowhere he opposed the freedom movement or the freedom fight). Later he started to go soft with the British so that they won't arrest him regarding the Bhagat singh book release. Post independence he supported Congress now and then.. he was also a pro anti-DMK till Anna's era. Surprisingly in the Keelvenmani incident he also went so hard against the Communists for no good reason (he said communism must be eradicated). He cannot be compared with Ambedkar, who clearly wrote about the reason whenever there is any such inconsistency in his policy and reasoning for political stances.

Two things : Japanese on the record during burma seige by commonwealth forces. Japanese forces and Ina lost too easily, japanese said Netaji lacked military experience and not a good offensive leader. The ashes that are in tokya are not Netaji’s.
