Without the original source, all we have is your assumption that the story of David is the way it is told in the Bible today. However your assumption crumbles when presented with the facts that scholars (including Christian scholars) agreed that the Bible have been altered or corrupted. _what the Quran says about David (and it does not say he was a prophet)_ You may refer to Quran 4: 163 and Quran 17: 55 where David is listed among the prophets such as Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

S. was King not Pharaoh as it was stated in Bible that At the time of Joseph (PBUH) Pharaoh was the ruler. I know that at the time of debate it is hard. But as I was listening to the argument first thing that I think of is that he trapped himself by bringing the story of Yusuf A. S.
