Dear Mr Ramatri, I have always appreciated your vlogs on environmental issues, but this one is not best scripted. For you and others, it should be acounted well. The animals described here are not killed for their skin but for meat and the same skin is being tanned and utilised into making various products. Secondly Tanning are of two types, i. e vegetable tanning and crome tanning ( mentioned by you). To stop the discharge of waste water into river, it is being treated in-house at chrome recovery plant and then it goes to waste treatment plant managed by municipal corporation and money is being charged with factories for its management. This plant was made with collaboration from Dutch company. There is regular monetring of chrome content in discharged waste water, both online and offline. Hope your vlogs are well researhed and always leave the decision with the people to adopt or reduce its usage. Thanks and hope you will redraft and broadcast the next vedio on this subject again to have better updated understanding.
