Truth, Conformity, and Personal Expression

We often think consensus is an indicator of truth. In this session, Harvard Rabbi and master educator Dani Passow explores chapters 21 and 22 in Kings 1 along with fascinating piece of Talmudic interpretation of these chapters. Through these texts, we learn how a false prophet could be uncovered in ancient Israel and, in so doing, discover a surprising lesson that upends our understanding of authenticity and truth.
