They should 100% stop making armor with only one perk, give it 2 perks bc when a new armor comes out and it only has one perk, the chances of me using it more than maybe once go down to 0

and stuff like the flame or gas armor is useful only if you get hit by them. Gas is especially much less likely to hit you since you can't spray yourself with the support weapon, and you generally don't run into gas clouds in the first place.

the flinch armor isn't even that good, all it does is it keeps your aim steady up to a certain point when being shot at by small arms, it doesn't prevent your stims from being interrupted

i hate that all the new armors have only 1 passive, especially when said passive is generally niche and not even that useful. prob unpopular, but I don't like cosmetics in warbonds, especially hellpod and pelican skins. fells like easy filler from the devs to avoid another primary or armor. FYI I love this game, but these little issues piss me off.

There has to be some balance. More ammo and abilities could make it more fun, but the challenge tanks... it's a fine balance. You get 7 mags IRL, 30 rounds per mag. I think they used this as a base line.

The first thing I thought after my first mission with the new shotgun is we need a hot key for switching between the ammo types the amount times I died because enemies flew to me to hit me sucks and the shotguns flench ammo has absolutely no stagger. Cookout is better still, but that shotgun isn't terrible.

Stagger doesnt matter much when you kill warriors and hunters in 1 shot anyway, and there's stun rounds for just shooting a brood commander, and switching to 2 tap the head.

On super helldive, the stun is nice when you are surrounded. The spread can stun more than one target and gives you a way to weave through hordes. Paired with turrets or guard dog, a very good support primary weapon (great for also stopping brood commanders and chargers running at your turret)

Most of the time, it's intuitive to figure out. Also, he used weapons made for bots against mostly bugs and complained. He used anti light and medium weapons on heavies and complained. The only reasonable complaint he had was about the armour

Chargers always spin when stunned, needs to be fixed but you can run behind him and shoot the butt again and he will stayed stunned allowing you to quickly kill it with a support. It’s made AMR even better on bugs now

I will die on the hill that the halt isn't bad, and its really good against bugs (not bots). I will point out its issues though. -Low capacity with its normal shots isn't the biggest deal, as its reload is insanely fast, but can fall short in some encounters during large amounts of chaff -The stun rounds are only light penetrating, which makes them useless against heavies, and not useful against chaff, because why not just use the regular shots? They are good against stalkers though. I think a simple fix to this is to just make the stun rounds aoe like actual stun nades, and just make them go through armor. -lack of stagger in normal rounds. This isn't the biggest drawback, but I dont see It couldnt've had regular shotgun stagger. With the halts issues, I still believe its benefits are good enough to combat these draw backs. The halt's medium penetration and high damage makes it SUPER effective against the most annoying of bugs. The Halt consistently 2 shots alpha commanders, hive guards, One shots warriors, can 2-3 shots bile spewers, and can 1-2 shot nursing spewers. An issue I also can see people having is that it doesn't consistently kill hunters in 1 shot sometimes, as it seems hunters heavily rely on headshot damage, but aren't as affected with limb damage, which i think is just an issue with them in general. The argument with the cookout seems to always be brought up though, which is 100% valid. The cookout can shred hordes of hunters and has stagger. So why use the halt? Well, I totally agree that the cookout outperforms the halt in every way against small chaff specifically, but no one seems to talk about the fact that it absolutely just falls off when it comes to alpha commanders, hive guards and bile spewers, which are the most annoying enemies in the game, and can come in literal hoards. The Cookout simply can't keep up with these enemies. Playing with the halt has made my bug experience 1,000 times better because I now have a consistent way of dealing with these annoying ass spongy medium enemies that usually make bugs insufferable in a primary. And remember, the halt is not TERRIBLE at killing the small chaff. Yes, the halt has a low ammo, but it still 1 shots warriors and hunters as long as your aim is somewhat above average lol. I just want to make it clear, im no glazer lmao, but Im also not gonna sit here and say its trash, I just don't see how someone can call it that whatsoever. I still think its stun rounds need a massive rework or fix, and maybe some more rounds in the chamber, but other than that, it's a SOLID primary to bring against bugs, and is now my go to. (SMG blows ass though).

Absolutely bullies every medium bug in the game, which incidentally is what the primary needs in my loadouts. Funny enough I didn't really vibe with Halt, not sure why but it just doesn't feel good to use for me. Also a lil tip for Halt: rebind the weapon menu to a single key (I set it to C for now). That way you'll be able to bring it up instantly, and it'll considerably speed up ammo switching.

I don't think it's trash either and Dough even says that it's pretty much mid in the video. The issue is that there is very little reason to bring it above other shotguns. I personally have never had an issue with Alpha commanders using the cookout. Sure it might take a couple more rounds, but the stagger means they aren't charging you during that time. Also it seems like the halt has a pretty significant spread on it's flechette rounds. I have noticed that taking shots beyond short range on stuff tends to result in much less damage than expected. This is particularly noticeable on the hunters. I feel like if I engage a hunter beyond 20 yards, I've got maybe a 50/50 chance of killing it with the halt. The stun rounds are neat, but why stun something when you could just kill it. If I want stun, I run an arc weapon because then I'm doing both. Otherwise, you're just using two shots to do what one should be doing.

The perks works fine and it is my favorite perk right now. BTW we don't even need perks to play HD2. I was using extra padding armors for a long time. Unflinching and Peak Phisique are totally worth it.

In my own critical feedback: this warbond is good for the bots, ok for the bugs, and overall a good choice. The shotgun feels nice on bots, the plasma pistol feels decent, and the booster is awesome as hell. However, the SMG (thank you for realizing it) is just a faster drop-off and worst accuracy adjudicator. The primary problem that I personally have with this warbond, is that the SMG is not one-handed, it ruins the consistency of the weapon categories and just makes it useless. The best way I see this warbond being a bit better, is to just make the SMG one-handed, allowing us to give the SMG a purpose , as well as the ballistic shield.

I agree, it should definitely be a one-hand weapon for consistency, but I think the reload time could also be shorter by 1-1.5 seconds. It would make the low magazine size feel a bit more justified. Plus, slap reloads are suppose to be swift and it feels so slow for something that's suppose to be dope

For me personally i found it fun to use with the mg-43 and i actually thought it was better than the adjudicator since it kills so fast and didn’t really have that much recoil if you use scope in.its good with bugs if you just tap fire but i do think they should atleast add more ammunition or maybe more clips.

Yeah, there are a lot of bad perks, but the resistance ones are probably the worst. Basically all they do is help you survive your own mistakes very slightly better, under very specific conditions. When you could just learn to not make those mistakes instead. It sucks that some of the coolest looking armors are stuck with dead perks.

The only 2 sources of Arc dmg currently in the game is the Arc Thrower and the Tesla tower. That's it... There are no enemies in the game dealing Arc dmg... And people don't really bring the Arc thrower or Tesla tower into missions that often. It doesn't make any sence😂😂😂

I dunno what people are smoking but the Halt is by far one of the best shotguns ever, the flexibility it offers is amazing, and offers possibly one of the best (and coolest) skill expressions in popping a stun shot, switching to flechettes or the senator, or even a support weapon and boom. You got a two-in-one shottie that lets you take more wild and unordinary weaponry in your loadout. It’s literally the shotgun version of the thermite grenade in the sense of how it lets you be more flexible with your loadout rather than always taking the same shit all the time.

Dear god, almost every ballistic weapon is god awful. I love having to be precise with 45 bullets and being able to kill a max of 5 enemies. I use to be annoyed by the negativity until I slowly realized just how true it is. The video after the first buff wave to assault weapons and you said they still sucked, converted me. I want to use an assault rifle so bad.

It feels like shit against everything just because you're facing less of those things doesnt make it less shit. Unflinching is useless. It REDUCES the flinch, but you flinch anyway and miss your shots anyway so what's the point? If made you completely immune to flinch it would still not be worth it but would be at least useful.

Unflinching makes it so your crosshair doesn't move, even if your character does show a flinch animation. It does make you immune to flinching (except when stimming)

All I want is simply a heavy armor, tweaking the armor passive to also help you run through EMS to make it more viable for controlling, make the pistol more automatic with extra rounds. The shotgun can have a bit more power in contrast to the normal punisher. Finally for the SMG, maybe give it 5 or 10 more rounds, and extra mag or 2, and give it an actual scope to promote marksmanship.

What triggers me is not this particular SMG but balance overall: Pilestedt is strange. He says he enjoys Assault Rifles yet keeps them as low as possible. He can give you almost perfect Scorcher as an automatic weapon (good damage, recoil that you barely feel, small staggering aoe on impact) and then say "YAHP, this new smg that behaves terrible is dope! Release it like that"

Armor sets should come without a perk by default imo. They should be kinda like boosters, except only personal effect. There are sets i would gladly use, because i like their drip, but the Perk makes them just bad. Also i think we should be able to use two at the same time (you could unlock perk slot 2 as a ship module).

My unfortunately controversial opinion is that all primaries should be good at chaff clear. Medium pen weapons being slightly less so since they get the ability to take down medium targets. None of them are that great at killing medium enemies anyway so they should still be good for chaff, but god forbid they release a truly exceptional weapon in a new warbond

If a Heavy Devastator is bearing down on you it's nice to switch to stun rounds to keep him still, then switch back and pick your headshot comfortably. Haven't used it against the Bugs yet but it'll probably be great for Stalkers as well. You could also keep a Charger stun locked for a team mate to slap the wiggly bit, since it unfortunately doesn't stun long enough to do it yourself. Mag size and recoil on the SMG isn't great but it looks sick, medium armour pen is always nice and burst fire helps to a certain extent. Maybe the extra recoil reduction when crouching perk helps?Haven't unlocked the Plasma Pistol yet.

But they have lost my trust by constantly nerfing prem warbond weapons after they release. Cookout, blitzer, crossbow & flamethowe are the only weapons that are better compared to their launch

Pretty much every AR has been buffed since launch and they all have a use in high diff, all the shotguns feel good to use (not the Slugger). Hell even most support weapons are in a good place now. The only weapons that i feel to be underwhelming are the Lib Carbine and the Slugger

In the whole arsenal of all weapons I cant even find one I would say its Very good. There are "dont ever touch" weapons, weapons you cant play on highest difficulties and a few weapons I could consider "ok, but:..." Its like every weapon hast its but. Blitzer cool but range. Crossbow cool but always the danger of killing yourself. New shotgun: Cool, but Bile Spewers... New SMG: Nice damage... if you are lucky enough to hit. Even on single fire that thing has a spread on the first shot... New shotgun would be cool if the stunrounds would actually deal damage. If you could change between aoe and Medium Pen with low spread it might get my favourite weapon BUT: Stupid stunrounds deal close to zero damage!

One thing about the flinch is that most of the time we are getting flinched by lasers. My B+ in quantum mechanics has taught me that light, while having momentum and kinetic energy when you’re talking in the scales of electrons, does not have what it takes to be felt, not to mention knocking a whole person off balance and cancel a life saving stim lol

But we can go through the list so I can hear your idiotic justifications; Slugger is the only other medium pen shotgun but doesn't have enough damage to be close(hence why most of the community has been calling for it to be buffed for months and months), the punisher and all 3 breakers are all light pen AND lower damage per shot than the halt(except for the punisher), and the incendiary breaker AGAINST BOTS is just worse than the cookout.

Tuned into your stream yesterday and listened to some other dude complain about the guns for a half hour so I finally decided to log in and buy the war bond. The SMG is one of the best feeling guns in the game. It could definitely use a little more ammo or maybe a faster reload speed to compensate but i had 0 issues with the recoil. The shotgun against bugs felt nuts stunning everything and killing off with a support weapon or gas. The damage rounds could do with maybe a little more damage but headshots guaranteed most kills is ok for me. I play diff 10 only and no i did not bring orbitals or the same load out every time. Had no issues diversifying with the new guns and had fun every time. I think wanting buffs is good and deserved but your delivery is so negative it's hard to watch when every other content creator is bringing up positives and hopeful for change

I don't mind compensating for a weapon's faults with armor, it's like Monster Hunter where you gotta fight some mechanics with perks. What I don't like is the armor perks that are so worthless like fire/poison res where that does absolutely nothing to actually help. You get hurt still so you're still forced to heal or you'll get 1 shot by something that farts near you. Even 95% HP isn't automatically safe.

Every single weapon is the same, if it has armor pen then have low ammo, if it have a lot of ammo then doesn't hit hard, this super boring "balance" on almost every weapon.

That’s the ‘Dead Sprint’ Booster, if you joined a team and somebody brought that, it use’s your health as Stamina when your energy depletes. Unless you had the drain solo then I’m not sure. I’ve had that problem too, specifically on Demuirg.

I like the weapons, I think the only grievance I have is to make the SMG 1 handed, otherwise it's just an AR to me, not an SMG. I'd also like if we could have layered armor, where we can equip a set strictly for looks but it uses the stats of another set. You'd have to own both sets obv.

I'm not sure I'd run the halt often. But in playing around with it, it was quite amusing to get behind a charger use the stunning rounds then drop hellpod like EATs on it as it sat there. Killed like 5 chargers in a row that way. Just got to hit it a couple times to keep it still for long enough.

I personally disagree that the primary weapons in this war bond are bad or in general, I think they’re very creative, and they do good damage, for the extra amount and damage seeing that it’s an SMG. I think the extra recoil and decrease magazine size is fair. in general, I think all the primary weapons in the game are in a good place, and the ammo capacity and damage is fair and balanced, it seems same people want the primary weapons to be just as good as the support weapons, and the strategies, which I think wouldn’t be terrible, but would make the game kind of unbalanced and way too easy, and wouldn’t make it hell divers, if you wanna take out the heavy enemies in the game, use a support weapon or a strategy that’s what they’re for the primary weapons are only for taking out the small and light maybe medium enemies in general, and should be very inefficient or hard to take out heavy enemies with it.

Okay i've really gotta say it now: The mediun armor for enemies like hive guards or striders needs a durability feature instead of just making all light AP rounds bounce and ricochet off. Because IMO aside from ammo and damage, that's one of the smaller reasons why AR's and other weapons are so damn obsolete on higher difficulties. I get one of the ideas is to *Flank* and shoot the weak spot, but that won't always fly when there's 5 or 6 hive guards coming towards you. I'm fine with Chargers and Titans deflecting them since their armor is naturally thicker, Just make it so lighter rounds can actually Crack and break armor of smaller enemies and expose them instead of making them ricochet everything and force us to aim awkwardly.

I came up with a build I call 2,3,4 Primary: Liberator concussive (light armor pen, high ammo cap) Secondary: Grenade pistol Strats 1. Cluster(bugs)/airstrike(bots) 2. Guard Dog (Lib Pen, Medium armor pen) *Could use more range 3. Quasar cannon (Heavy armor pen) 4. Custom (Recommend turret, orbital, or another eagle strike, maybe 500kg.

The smg became my new primary, but i only play bots where it seems to excell at after watching your video. The warbond does seem to be more orientated towards bots, which is great after the last few warbonds being better against bugs. I do think the weapons feel overly balanced, especially the smg, but nothing in the warbond feels terrible except maybe the charge up time on the secondary plasma pistol. Theres definitely room for improvement, but overall i was really happy with the warbond

I actually love the shotgun on helldive. The stun rounds are great for setting your team up for safe kills or to combo with other strategems. I've been running a rover with the stun rounds or a flamer with stun rounds. While the enemies are stunned your rover can kill them or since they're stunned for a good 2 secs you can switch to your support weapon and gun down most enemies. The shotgun is great! The smg is mid but fun.

So my question is, why are you complaining when using them wrong? They're great weapons, but not meant for heavy enemies. Every time you struggled to kill in this video, it was a heavy enemy. Meanwhile, when the warbond trailer came out, it was only used on light to medium enemies. Which you didn't struggle to kill at all. Have you not noticed that AH displays the intended use of their weapons and strategems in their display videos? Including their intended targets. Which is why we know this warbond is meant for bots more than bugs. Stuns pretty much stop bots while only severely slowing bugs. The halt and plas both have stun. And explosives have always been way better against bots. another for the halt. Most bots have medium armour too, so the SMG is pretty reliable. But it's also good for bugs, as they are mostly light armour. There's just a lot of them. Also, you complained about 25 rounds for the SMG, but it has 9 mags. that 225 rounds. That's a lot. I also noticed that you only displayed 2 games against the bots, and in one, you are pretty clearly seeing the stun and good damage from the pistol. Ultimately, I think your complaints are more because you are used to fighting against bugs more than bots, than because of genuine flaws. Because, as a bot main, I can confidently say, these are great weapons against them. Not the best, sure, that's still the crossbow, senator and recoilless, but they are great. I agree about the armour though. I would prefer it if you could have an "armour module/booster" rather than the perks being tied to the armour itself. Then I could keep my light armour and use other perks as I need. It would also let people have the styles they want, but retain the ability they want. And I wish we could have a secondary mission booster, one that only applies to ourselves. It would allow for further specialising and allow us to get the benefits of a booster that we want, but couldn't take. (Example, you're the one who has to take "Full Ammo" because no one else did, but you wanted "Faster Extract")

The 25 round capacity on the SMG is clearly a nod to the UMP, famous for having 25 round mags. That's neat, but it isn't called Nostalgia Earth. I think if they reduced the recoil by quite a bit the new SMG would be one of my go to primaries for bots and a fun gun for bugs (definitely not touching the Burny Breaker in that regard). It feels cool, but damn that recoil kills me when I want more than one shot in a row to hit where I'm aiming. The damage is nice though, this thing shreds imo so long as you can manage to keep the bullets on fascists and not the horizon. Reduce recoil a lot, raise magazine capacity to 35-45 (reduce mag count if you hate players having ammo), and this gun would be easily the best traditional firearm primary imo.

Literally the most fun I ever had against bugs was just using Crossbow, Stalwart, Gas/Incendiary Nades depending on the seed and difficulty as well as 500kg, Gas Orbital, Jump Pack and whatever stratagem is needed/not brought by my team. Kinda sad but the Stalwart feels so good to use and mow down tons of chaff.

Armour passive is good for bots, but def should be two passives per set. I've tried to like the new Halt shotgun, but can't stand the slow fire rate and low ammo cap. This one feels like a big 50/50. Fashion is great, the pistol and the shotgun are pretty good. And then theres the downsides, Armor passive needs another effect, just like the RES armors. An idea would be taking less damage from enemies you are facing or something, just anything to make it closer to the launch passives. Dead Sprint needs something to let you opt out of it for those who do not want to use it. Perhaps a glass break style visual effect happens on your screen for around 1 second that lets you stop running before you begin losing HP to let your stamina regen. Stuns are just borked in general and need fixing, especially around Chargers, The SMG, is just weird. I honestly don't get why this thing isn't an Assault Rifle, it feels like they are aware of the AR bloat, but were halfway done making an AR so they axed it's accuracy, and put it with the SMGs. Either make it 1 handed and give shield a new, unique SMG option, or fully rework just make it the semiauto combat rifle of dreams. Im afraid that any attempts to buff it will just turn this into the new Senator vs Verdict, where either this or the Ajudicator would outshine the other to the point that even if both are good, one will always feel bad.

i think ppl should check out this guy that made so many videos about armor passives and spread them on so many armors his ideas was great and AH could at least take most of this stuff from JUST armors cuz he made videos about helmets too "Why we play" he even made videos about balance and it was pretty decent

The armor's passive has minimal impact. Ive been testing it and I cant tell a difference between stock and that. If I was unphased by being shot I think this armor passive would be godlike, but no. Also, is anyone still dissapointed by the fact that polar patriot armor doesnt have a movement bonus? I feel like having armor made for snow might give you an advantage in snow, right?

I like the skins and the Halt shotgun at least but then again I only use stun rounds on brood commanders or stalkers so not doing anything to chargers sucks. Maybe it has something to do with the way they coded heavy armor or smthng
