I love Byron's take on playing the melody without sounding like a bass player playing the melody!!! Thank you for another great interview, Scott!!!

Glad George gave Byron some points for Reach For It because he deserved it. The bass solo was the whole song and it changed George's life especially his bank account

My all-time fav bassist living in my town. I'd give anything just to chill for 5 minutes at the B-Spot.

Great to see and hear you Byron. I saw George a couple times, the Greek Theater in Berkeley with Sheila on drums! So hot. I dont know if that was you. But the records are part of my DNA. Then I saw George at a club in Emeryville, fantastic. Then finally, with Al Jarreau at the free outdoor show in S.F. I'd love to see you sometime- you're the best brother. Stay funky! 🎉 🕉 Keep reachin' for it!

Thank you for the wonderful interview with Byron Miller! Great questions! His stories about working with George Duke and Luther Vandross were enthralling. I've long been a fan of Mr. Miller's music and thought that his comments were very insightful, revealing not only an obviously talented artist but also a down-to-earth, earnest individual...look forward to purchasing his forthcoming "Psycho Bass 3" (featuring the halcyon "Real Love") project. Thank you again. God bless you, Mr. Miller, and all!

Excellent interview. I went to Apple Music to revisit Reach For It. The speed of some of his bass licks with such clarity, OMG -he really digs in. I would call it muscular which shows his hand strength and nimble because it shows his agility and speed. Yeah.
