The Whispers singer twins' Wallace and Walter Scotts' parents had to be emmensely happy...eventhough they had to do their own thing. These men literally taught us how to feel about women. Nice shout out of my elementary school buddy Kevin Spencer. - SCLA and Watts ❤️

These my dudes for real. I know every Whispers song riffs runs and all. As a kid I had a mini reel to reel with enough tape to have one song and I would sit in the back of the church with big ass headphones listening to Are You Going My Way over and over.

I LOVED The Whispers ! I own 7 albums on vinyl, 3 more on CD. I loved them . ----------1st saw The Whispers in 1972, the farewell concert for Smokey & the Miracles, here in LA, at The Forum, when they opened, & Al Green, in a flaming green shirt, came out next , & nearly caused a riot when he threw that shirt into the front rows. I think it was torn apart, but don't hold me to that. Smokey , Ronnie, Pete & Bobby came out last, & had me in music heaven. Now, about The Whispers, I can't honestly say they made much of an impression. For me, it wasn't until the late 70's, with " And The Beat Goes On " , that I really paid attention. The 80 / 81 album, " in The Raw " really took me in. I loved it. From then on, all through the 80's & early 90's, I was totally into The Whispers. !0000 % , & I am still, to this day. If I could ask Walter or Scotty anything ? My VERY 1st question would be : WHO ----------WHO ! --------is / was, that lady in the video for " I Wanna Know Your name " ???????? OMG, she was so gorgeous, it wasn't fair ! Then, there's that woman in the video of " In The Mood " ! She too, is gorgeous. Who were they, & how did they get into those 2 videos ??? I know, I know, this isn't about the music -------but it really, pretty much, is. My forever best to all members, & any besides Big Nick, who have left us. RIP, Brothers. -----------MJL, 76 y/o-----------PS : I saw The Whispers 6 times & at every one of their shows, the entire world was there--------black, white, Asian, & anyone else -------and we ALWAYS left the show, smiling & happy. That's because their music was smiling & joyous. -----------------------MJL

Great conversation with one of my favorite groups of all-time! I found them in 1974 with, “What More Can A Girl Ask For?” I was all of 14 then and I’ve been a Whispers groupie ever since. I also appreciate everything they said about the legendary Leon Sylvers. I was a huge fan of The Sylvers and I continued to follow Leon’s career as a producer. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Maybe it will happen in my lifetime. Thank you Scott for yet another great interview.

Love these brothers, and their group is one of a kind. Not just because of the twin aspect of the group. Something in which I've never seen before in any other group. Along with that It was just the lusciousness and soulfulness of the style that makes them unique and beloved. Especially among the black people who have grown up and listened to their music all their lives. So I salute Scotty and Walter and Nick and all the rest of my favorite. And I know for a fact many, many, many, many infinite others favorite group as well.

One of my all time favorite groups, I was just playing their music the other day in my car. There'll never ever be another whispers only imitators. There's no greater music than Ole school music , I thank Yahuah for Ole school artists & their music. I really don't listen to today's music There's no originality it's more gimmick than talent & everyone sound & look alike. I don't watch award shows because I was tired of the soft porn over sexualized artists with next to nothing talent.

Hello. I thoroughly enjoyed your interview with Mr. Walter Scott and Mr. Wallace "Scotty" Scott! They have always been one of my favorite (and unheralded) vocal groups---and one of the classiest, most down-to-earth artists in the industry! Their anecdotes about they how they got started in the business were very insightful and humorous. I especially enjoyed when the brothers discussed how much their father loved it when they would inject the jazzier elements of their talents into their music. One could tell that they were pleased that they had made their dad quite proud! Your excellent questions truly allowed them to reveal a great deal and made for an overall riveting interview. Thank you again and Thank you to The Whispers! Both of you are treasures and we look fwd to their album; it will be undoubtedly, another jewel! God's blessings!

Hello...really looking forward to viewing the Scott Brothers interview! The Whispers are one of the classiest and most underrated acts in the business! Considering their copious hits ("Just Gets Better With Time," "Olivia," Rock Steady"; "And The Beat Goes On," etc), it's difficult to believe that they've never won a Grammy! However, their ever-loyal fan base has kept them "rock steady" solid in this most mercurial music business. Thank you and God's blessings to all!
