I just got llumar IRX 50 % on the windshield. It still feels hot inside the car. Is there a way that I can be sure that the tinters used authentic llumar IRX 50 %, instead of some lesser quality brand with less infrared heat blocking ability? Thanks.

Yes.. The film has to be removed and metered..for IR block... Unless someone has a 2 piece IR meter(doubt it).. Remember that even if 90% IR is being blocked...u still have heat from visible light...Also the heat is NOT just IR heat ... When u do calculations ..you should have 60% TSER...meaning 60% All heat being blocked.. Then u must take into account accumulated heat...like in a garage...it has no windows but it can get hot from heat absorption... Also keep in mind that some heat will be coming from all other parts of the vehicle... Do a small test...leave window up facing sun...then lower it and let sun hit your face...let me know how it feels!! Yea...there will be a big Difference !! Dirty 🔥 🔥

Many films will do that boss. Just depends who is in your area..don't drink the kool-aid on whats the best. Films with over 99% IR block..are the ines to chose...that are known at least on the Google search

@dopeitsDOM. IRX has couple IR points less heat block tgan the F1... XRplus has about the same IR points as F1.. the only thing i don't like about xr plus is the blue color.. So please see for urself who treats u better and makes u feel warm.. IRX film us not really out of the picture...if i put all 3 films on..and ask u which blocks out 3 more points of IR heat.. u will fail the test every time..twice on Sunday... Throw a dart. They all superb heat blockers..i love the IRX color the most ! Dirty ✌️ ✌️

Solarfx FXtreme 2 vs Lllumar Formula One Pinnacle Series? 30% for either one. Looking at spec sheets it seems like the Solarfx might be a bit better. Which would you pick?

Both are excellent products..its a chevy vs ford thingy.. The other thing is that formula one is a specialty line that is through authorized dealers... not so with solar fx...solar fx is a great brand though ..just find a dealer that u like..both will work for the long haul!! Dirty 🔥 🔥

If one of those dealers were rude..and didn't seem so pro..or their price structure was like after they sold tint to u..they went straight to bank to pay a mortgage...these things make a difference... We're splitting hairs here on "whats better".. I personally know of way many more films in same league including my own window film line... Which one?? Over vortex? Vortex competes head to head with global ceramic ...Zenith IR competes with Llumar IRX and xoel ceramic..and 3m ceramic blue color..all over 90% IR block..vortex is about 78..to 83 ir block..

If its Crystalline for real..its a bargain..it runs north of 750 for sure..ctx is too low of price and cannot b compared to Crystalline because not same IR block...Stratos by Formula 1 is a better comparison and is the film i would chose...llumar IRX is also a superb n better film than ctx...
