I love the Traxxis motor plate ABC spacer selections. Set it and forget it. No need for paper, and then the readjust. And the slight groves that sometimes get pressed in. God I love it. This is how they should all be. Oh, and is this a new rc craze? A dedicated mud truck? I sure hope so. Gives me something to trailer in with my crawler. Other than that airboat that never ends up getting used anyway. Hmmm. I really would rather run a brushed motor in my crawler anyway, and keep it out of the mud. This may be the answer.

I'm psyched I found this channel. I found this video very helpful since I'm trying to change my servo. It seems like an easy task but being new to the hobby, the car just drove to the right the first time, I think I need a servo centering tool! I'm going to first put the horn on the drag link as you suggest. Thanks for making creative and informative content.

Great video man, hey I have a quick question for ya, I'm building a totally custom crawler with lots of vanquish and insicion parts. I installed a 5700KV sidewinder 3, on 2s. I have a Savox waterproof servo, but I was curious ive been at this kinda stuff for years, but I was curious, before I ruin another servo, how do I properly "center" a servo arm??

HEY HARLEY,with out being one sided, I don't have a 2.2 rig yet, what do you think the bomber kit or the rock Rey kit, just give me your thoughts if you have time, thanx, I know that axial support is huge
@HarleyDesignsInc5 жыл бұрын
IFS vs Solid axle is a HUUUUUGGGGGEEEE difference. If you want to do any trail riding, I would suggest Bomber. The Rock Rey or Yeti even are just not very good rigs unless you're trying to hit the rocks with speed. They aren't really worth driving slow ever. So if you want to do any crawling, Bomber is the only real choice between the two options.
@coreykurtz14045 жыл бұрын

@tewksburydriver86245 жыл бұрын
I understand guys want to tinker and mod, but this seems a bit crazy to me. The TRX4 was not meant to look or perform like this. You took a capable crawler and made it a spastic over powered toy. To each their own, it's your truck, I just don't get it. I totally understand useful mods and upgrades to the TRX4 to improve what it is designed to do, but not this.

You should rethink your way of soldering the female plug to the ESC, could not believe I saw this in one of your videos. BTW: Highly recommended to plug a counter (male) plug into the female (ESC side) XT60 when soldering, otherwise the pins often move a little bit, because the plastic melts. Then the plugs are very hard to plug in and unplug (HK does have pliers); of course a male (battery side) plug without battery, a "dummy"! (Fits into Mr. Jig). Why don't you solder the plug before mounting the ESC into the chassis, and why don't you stabilize the wires and pretin? Since you are probably an ideal for many viewers concerning "technical RC (car) stuff", you should not show such a bad (and incorrect) way of soldering plugs.
@HarleyDesignsInc6 жыл бұрын
There are certainly many ways to solder and some will be better than others. Plugging in a dummy plug was something I often did with deans. XT60 solder so quickly and easily that I’ve never melted one.
