Trx4 vs ftx kanyon how does the ftx kanyon really stack up against the mecca of crawlers

Been owning my Kanyon for two months now and i ran it through mud and water and whatnot and for the price this model always puts a smile on my face, i dearly love it :)

I'm late to the party. I've had my Kanyon for 5 days now. So far I upgraded steering servo to a 20kg, moved light bar back to the roof rack, mounted the tyre on the bonnet, raised the body 3 notches, moved battery tray forward 2 inch and put the aluminium chassis bars on it. I love this car, cannot wait to get out and shoot some nice videos with it!

Just ordered some alloy wheel weights, moved the battery tray forward a couple of inches and mounted the tyre to the front same as you. These are a bit top heavy but getting the weight low down isn't to difficult.

Great video dude iv got the kanyon for my first crawler did the motor swap too…is it meant to be loud? My 65t motor wasn’t as loud as this 35t thanks

It really did fp and one of them trx cost over 1000 pounds so fo 160 and 60 pound of upgrades it really did well and with the new body that lowers the centre of gravity it will do better again

Hi mate at that time I think there is a 35 turn austar moto wich was OK but I have traxxas 21 550 in there now and it was worth the extra 10 quid buddy

i dont know an awful lot about crawlers , im only just getting to grips with it but i think the difference in money is in the scale , i think to compete your car has to be true scale ?? correct me if im wrong ;) but i really like the look of that kanyon and think it looks just like a land rover

My point exactly the kanyon for the money really give the trx 4 a run for its money u can have the same fun from a £200 rig as you can from this trx4 wich has had some money spent on it too so if you are on a budget like I was you wont be disappointed thanks for watching buddy

I have one myself,along with an Outback 2;2x alloy SCX-10's and an Austar X10 II. Even adding up what they all cost,I'm just over the cost of that TRX-4.

@@semperatis that's true buddy if you dont like it there really is no point personally I love the trx 4 landrover edition it looks scale and is very good at what it does maybe over priced in my opinion but u do get alot for your money but the ftx for the money is magic
