I just go for a hike, carry thr truck with me as I look for terrain. Walking and strictly driving the truck takes too long lol

i finally grabbed mine yesterday with a ton of upgrades, same model and color. Your amazing videos convinced me and i hope to see more, thank you ! By the way, maybe you allready know but if you're ever looking for a smaller and narrower set of tires to make it look more like a classic landrover you should take a look at the pitbull PBX tires. They are not as capable as your injoras but they make it look alot more scale. If you want to see how they look and perform on a defender take a look at crawler baller videos, i think it looks really nice.

Thanks! No big plans for now. Just slowly upgraded it as I see fit. I’m pretty happy with the performance for now, but I’ll probably eventually swap in some metal gears and some aluminum here and there for durability.

I am seriously considering buying the 4M Defender. What are you thoughts so far? How it performs as completely stock and are there some necessary upgrades needed? I have SCX24 hard body Bronco and you really have to buy extra mods to lower the center of gravity otherwise it tips over a lot.

At this point I have a lot of wheel time with both the scx24 and the trx4m, and I think the 4m is better in just about every way. It feels so much more reliable, powerful, and capable. However, the defender is a heavy body and some weights down on the axle would really go a long to way to help it crawl, or switching to a Lexan body or something

@@LittleGrey That is what I thought, it just seems to perform very well. The Defender is hardbody too? I thought what was lexan in part. So it'd definitely need some weights down there as well, as you're saying. EDIT: I am also playing with the idea to save a bit more and go for the 1/10 TRX4 Defender. That one seems just bitchin'. I would definitely welcome the ability to switch between high and low gear. Plus I would pimp it with all the scale accessories until the end of the universe...
