"Try Again" is a folk-rock anthem about continuing despite failure, about never giving up, and always taking another try at what makes you happy.
This song has meaning for all of us, and it was particularly significant to release around this year’s Grey Cup Festival show with the Atlantic Schooners. It’s a song that applies both to an indie band that has spent 18 years as an ‘emerging artist’ and a CFL team that has spent over a decade trying to will itself into existence. Our relationship with the Atlantic Schooners, being the ‘Unofficial Official Band of the Unofficial Official 10th CFL Team’ has seen these two unlikely underdogs supporting each other for almost a decade, sharing the long road to the big game. It is the hope of both groups to one day play the big game itself.
This one has Canadian singer-songwriter Luke Doucet (Whitehorse) joining us as a session player in studio on banjo and electric guitar.
