You are clearly a natural when it comes to teaching. I can't even express the level of comfort you provide with your short but priceless lessons! I will forever recommend your videos to anyone who asks me about a Java concept they aren't quite grasping because there is no way I can explain it better than you. But just to keep your kindness ball rolling, I will also do my best to help others with other languages in the future. Thank you SO MUCH for ALL of your videos!

I feel like i need to leave a comment to say that the little encouragement where you were like "see, you're already a better programmer after these past two minutes" was very encouraging. This semester of my CS major is kicking me in the teeth and it's nice to have these positive instructional videos. thank you so much!

Saved my life bro! Thank you for that simple explanation. I was out here dying trying to figure out what exception and try catches were. I almost resorted to using textbook. Lol

Every time we cover a new topic in a class lecture I zoom here to see if you've made a video about it. It brings my understanding from a maybe.. 55% level to a 85% level, and the rest is just practice practice practice. I've been watching your videos since starting my Comp Sci degree and I can't thank you enough for you clear, concise explanations. Thank you!

He's do genuine and instructive in his teaching like he really wants us to succeed and he also understands the struggles of the shitty way colleges teach it to you. Appreciate this man so much!!!

Honestly, you are a blessing. The way you explain everything, it's incredibly simple, but at the same time comprehensive. I spend my last night reading about Exceptions, Try {} Catch(){} and I have understood absolutely nothing. Everyone seems to try to explain an already hard to grasp concept for a newbie with big and complicated words and they assume everything is clear.... but in reality you feel dumber than you felt in the beginning. Thank you for all your videos! Everytime I have a hard time understanding a concept you are the go to mentor to light up the mystery. All the best and thank you for everything!

Great video my friend. One good practice would be to close the scanner after we are done with it so resource leak doesn't occur. I would put that in finally block scan.close(); or you can also add scan.close(); in line 12 at 5:43

This was super helpful. It came at a perfect time... right when I needed it for the simple game I’m programming. I wish you would have discussed the “e” in the exception list more. I didn’t feel like I had a solid understanding of why that is there, if it’s always there, and if it ever changes to a different left letter.
@SkyeVintorez4 жыл бұрын
Exceptione e The "e" is a variable which hold the exceptions in order to catch it, You can print the e Just Sysout(e); You can change it to what ever you want to name it
