That last one actually made me tear up. I don't think any of the girls noticed but Taylor's nose gear had malfunctioned and she was landing on only two wheels--and she was a total boss! I loved how the controller bonded with her instantly and was talking to keep her calm. That got me!

Her front landing gear completely detached from the plane on take off. The whole video is quite scary, could hear the fear in her voice. Many have died to similar circumstances. Amazingly enough there was a flight instructor with decades of experience about to take off also, who was the one who helped her land safely. Also that was her FIRST solo flight.

Re Tori's worry: Cats and horses usually get along super well, actually! Horses are very conscious about not stepping on animals smaller than them, and in addition to being helpful in other ways, a good farm cat can help keep them calm in the barn.

Absolutely loved this video, exactly the wholesomeness I needed today. I believe the unknown creature was a colugo, they're from Southeast Asia. And the bear was from a channel here on the Tubes by the name of Orphaned Wildlife Center. Lots of content for the bear lovers out there as well as some other nice wildlife stuff.

8:00 Bears can be _sort of_ tamed. They don't really understand how delicate humans are so they need to be taught boundaries for _each _*_individual_* human they interact with. However, once that's done its fine. A grizzly bear can basically bench press a truck, but it can also pick a single blueberry with its claws without bruising it. Once they know _to_ be gentle, they can be.

That animal with the skin webbings is called a Colugo, also known as the Flying Lemur. It isn't a lemur per se, but it is related to primates. Those skin flaps can expand and allow it to glide between trees.

Cat paw thing killed me. My Pandora was declawed in the front (before anyone yells, she broke her toes getting caught in curtain and freaking out, the vet took all off the front as there were several on each paw) and until she died at 18, even though it had be FIFTHEEN years after getting it done, if she wanted something, she would limp into my or my husband's office and limp, shaking a paw and crying at one of us. The SECOND she got her treats and a scritch, the little bitch would have the AUDACITY to then get the zoomies right out of the office, perfectly fine, content in how much guilt she could still ram into us!
