That's the camera I use, which is capable of 4k but I don't record in 4k cause it takes up so much more space and transfer time and no one needs to see me in 4k. I also crop the shot a little and might have one FCP Color Grading Preset on the footage depending on how pale I am that month.

@@happytheknife I'm down to take on Midsommar if you want. I even have the original script to that one which in my opinion is better than what we actually got, marginally better but better.

I still need to see that one but I’m down! There’s actually a lot in the Hereditary script that didn’t make it in the movie that would’ve helped parts of it make more sense, but it’s mostly more visual clues and I don’t think it would’ve helped the story or character development much. I think Ari Aster is a great visual director but should’ve directed someone else’s scripts for a few years. He’d probably be great with Charlie Kaufman.

@@happytheknife I think Ari Aster is a good director but not so good at writing, he fails at giving characters enough depth for an audience to care about them. That's my biggest issue with his movies and characters it's that I don't care enough about them to feel good or bad when something happens to them.

My first review for The Blair Witch Project was a little different and had some background music but didn’t really get much attention. If you happen to check that one out lmk what you think. It’s just standard FCP music but I could definitely start finding new music to add to these 😁
