I had a roommate who did something similar but with any soda I'd buy. I would usually buy 2L bottles because of convenience, and what he would do is (because HE preferred it this way) shake the whole bottle and slowly open and close it so that it went flat in minutes rather than after a couple of days. Even when I would buy the cheaper no name soda for HIM and buy the more expensive Coke or Pepsi for me he'd open MY bottles and let it go flat. OR what he'd do is - to ensure that at least one bottle goes flat he'd open multiple bottles at the same time. Like when I had a Coke, A 7-up and a A&W he opened each the two that were not yet open and just let them sit on the table. the last straw was when I had bought a pack of 24 cans of Coke for him to drink and put my own 2L bottle of Dr. Pepper next to my Crown Royal so that I could mix them, he went and opened MY Dr. Pepper and did his shake-it-up thing. I cussed him out like I had never cussed out anyone.....well, except a few teachers in high school.
