I’m utterly envious of the prices you pay. I’m in NSW and I can;t afford to shop at the op shops in my area as much as I’d love too, I’m forced shop at Kmart as a single mum living on Newstart, I cant even buy a chipped mug for $1 at my local salvos, vinnies or Anglicare stores. Totally crazy , so I’ll continue to watch and be absolutely blown away at the prices you pay.

The Salvation Army (not to be confused with Salvos) also do reasonable pricing. Find the closest one near you and give it a try. Way better than Kmart. LOL that is a new one. "We'll give you $2 off or we'll throw it into a landfill." Wat!? So surreal! That's like … thrift hostage taking! So mean. I've spent part of today fixing a dodgy skirt I thrifted for $1.50. It looked a bit daggy. (learning new words) Someone tried to hand sew a new waistline onto a velvet tiered skirt and man it looked horrid and the elastic got exhausted. I gave it a wash and unpicked the bad sewing and created more length with a proper new waist band. Now it looks great!

For the oversized flannel it may look less so if you roll up the sleeves. It’s worked for me with oversized shirts. Of course some of the warmth is gone by doing that.

You did good again. Be careful wearing that navy "slip dress". Warner's is a lingerie line. I think that's a "slip" for "under " a dress. Sorry, I couldn't understand your Aussie accent, but we're you say Lida Biday? I think that's a designer from Sweden. I have a problem distinguishing plaid and check, but I think that's a plaid shirt. If it's too large a seamstress can alter it smaller to fit you better.
