A very unusual way of doing iris folding but very effective. I tried to get into the Iris folding class at Chat'n'Choose but it was always booked out. I happened to mention this to my neighbour and she said she could show me. Your way is much easier. Thanks Ann. Ruth down under.

Paper is such a versatile medium and there's so much we can do with it including imitating some other craft techniques - such as quilting & mosaics etc - but just using paper. We don't have a lot of access to patterned paper in my country, but we do have nice handmade paper which I think will be great for Iris folding. Will definitely give it a try!

So happy you've decided to make this video. I love your You Tubes and am so inspired by you. If you need a break, as we all do sometimes, you must take care of yourself first. I see others on You Tube taking periodic breaks. It a wise thing to do for your mental health. I actually think it helps the creative process. I have periods of time that I'm not creative and then I get an idea and have to make it. It's just the nature of creativity. You don't want to get burned out.
