Great idea! I love cold frames except for the one problem of having to babysit them to regulate the temperature. My greatest success has been with winter sowing in milk jugs. I set them out in the dead of winter and pretty much forget about them til transplant time.

Thanks Linda! I’ve never had to deal with moles, but my brother in AZ has. I think he laid down a landscape fabric barrier and then built the raised beds on top. That keeps the ground critters from coming up underneath. There may be some videos about that on KZbin. I hope that helps!
