Try this mouth watering pork barbecue Filipino style. It's super delicious! My daughter always request me to cook this pork BBQ recipe every week. I'm always happily obliged, besides it's easy to make. I always marinate big batches and separate them in portion then put them in the freezer.
INGREDIENTS:
5 lbs pork shoulder cut into one inch cubes
2 tbsp banana ketchup or regular tomato ketchup
1 cup coke
3tbsp dark soy sauce
3tbsp or ¼ cup white vinegar
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp ginisa mix or 2tbsp chicken bouillon
2tbsp cup brown sugar
2 tsp ground pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 sachet bbq mix mamasita
1 lemon, squeezed
Zest of lemon
1 tablespoon salt ( to taste)
OTHER:
16 (12-inch) bamboo skewers
BASTING:
2tbsp ketchup
1 sachet annatto powder
1cup cooking oil
1 stalk of Lemon grass , chopped
1tsp Garlic powder
Pinch of black pepper
Salt to taste
