If you want to maximize Optimus's bolstering potential, sac outlets before your turn are the way to go. I run him with sac outlets and unblockable creatures. The unblockables practically guarantee that he'll get to flip back to his robot side by the end of the turn. Cards like Life Chisel and Throne of Geth are great since you can sac him during your upkeep for an easy 8 health or proliferate and he'll be back on his truck side ready to double bolster in the next combat.

I built him as a voltron: so many artifacts to make him stronger, give him trample, that way when he bolsters hes usually the only target making himself stronger with each battle AND why wouldn't the leader of the autobots have an impressive arsenal?

That's a really cool way to take the deck! That'd be pretty terrifying too if he could reliably get the counters from his ability.

@@MadHatterYT all i could think of was in dotm, when his trailer turned into that big mobile weapon station, but i imagined a g1 version of optimus grabbing axes and swords or it turning into his wing suit and it went from there

I'm currently building Optimus Prime myself... Luminous Broodmoth allows Optimus to return from death when he dies in vehicle mode during your turn, effectively turning him into infinite sacrifice fodder. Candlekeep Sage is also a great addition, as Optimus should be targeted a lot to stop him from growing your board, and every time he dies and returns as a truck, you draw a card (two cards if it's your turn).

@@DarkEinherjar Thanks for the suggestions! I think those are both great cards for the list. The infinite combo with broodmoth is actually pretty insane.

@@DarkEinherjar Is it infinite sacrifice fodder though? Because when he returns with Broodmoth he'll get a flying counter, so you can't get multiple Broodmoth triggers off the same creature.
