Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I just got a random idea: A demolition derby, but there are mines in the form of single dynamites randomly placed in the area. However, the dynamite is glowing/bright to increase visibility. This way you could push you enemy into them for example.

I'd like to see the Orbital Cannon again but with Boats, and Submarines. Meaning 1 round with Surface boats 30 block, and 6 power core limit , and 1 round with Submarines, 30 blocks, and 6 power core limit. And like you did with the 30 block cars, all you can do is run, and survive as long as you can. And with only 6 power cores, stability will be an issue for the runners, so Skill will be key to survive the longest. because you won't have much in the way of speed or maneuverability. So Hydrodynamics, and drag will be your worst enemy, not the cannon.

Now make the orbital accent slowly (1 to 3m per/sec) to a height of 1000m or 1500m. Once reached a height sensor should blow it up, if possible. Everyone who survived gets a point. If the gunner disables both, he gets three points. This would lead to 5 potential points if you survived both driver rounds and got all at the orbit round.

Idea for the next/a future episode: 30 block (or whatever low block amount you decide on) no repair offroad race with the vehicles engine being increased in tier each round (no other modifications to the vehicle are allowed). The challenge is you need to make your vehicle light enough to be reasonably fast with the weak engine, but still stable enough to be controllable with the high-power engine.

Just a suggestion, you should do this with 4 people, so that its 2v2 (2 cannons vs 2 dragon engines). I think it'd be fun to see if teams choose to double team on one car first or split up and try to take down both cars at the same time. It also cuts down the luck aspect a little cause the teams can predict different directions at once

You could do a cross between scrapmechanic hide and seek and trailmakers by doing a video where there is a hider in a flying vehicle with their HUD off or inside a camera block so that they can't see the hiders locations and the hiders would have ground vehicles. You could also do it so that when the seeker finds someone the hider who was caught could become the next seeker. another idea is that there could be only one hider instead of one seeker and the seekers try to find the hider and the first person to find the hider wins.
