Nice low budget outfit, Man. Layers are the cheapest form of efficient cold weather clothing I know of. That, and your reminder of hydration, and the body should be well able to continue generating heat pretty good. I've often thought about terrain just such as you are travelling through, and it always seems like a serious bugout scenario problem. But you gotta deal with whatever ground you're covering, huh? Probably best to travel such places at night, and make a carefully camouflaged stealth camp by day? Hard to say though. Easier to find your camp in daylight. Easier to spot you walking in daylight!
