And then suddenly, on that breezy summit of Tryfan, two bearded gentlemen became three bearded gentlemen… That was quite a meeting place! At least you both had it to yourselves for a good few minutes before the infiltrator arrived!!! HaHaHa Thank you so much for accompanying me that morning - setting off back down for the descent and then later guiding me onward up through the steep scree towards the top of Glyder Fach... It was all part of a thrilling experience (as always when taking on challenging mountain routes). Thoroughly enjoyable video… And I feel somewhat honoured now to have made a cameo appearance on your channel… fully subscribed to the bushcrafters way from here on out!

Tryfan looks like a good climb with a bit of a scramble here and there. I must give it a go sometime. Great views!

It really is Rachel you should definitely give it a go many ways up but north face is best scramble 👍 thanks for watching ATB

You're like an old mountain goat Trev up on that ledge mate. Pretty darn awesome - the views down below to. A rocky route but rewarding. It looked as if the wind dyed down for your break - nice spot and continuation afterwards. A brilliant climb. Mark

Thanks for showing us this route/scramble. I can now see it's a full on use of upper-body strength mostly all the way up. I did Crib Goch a couple of weeks ago and now I'm hooked on scrambling the mountains of Snowdonia. My favourite part of the Crib was climbing the pinnacles. They were tough but I just loved doing that kind of climb. I'm going to train a lot more before I do this one though. Can you recommend a climb that's not so hairy yet has a similar feel to it please?
@NorthwalesBushcrafters2 жыл бұрын
I believe if you have managed crib goch Tryfan is more than doable as there are lots of variations to the route but I understand if you would like to get a bit more experience and build more confidence try Moel siabod via daear ddu it’s a lovely little scramble to the summit and nice escape route’s easy moving to the left hand side, but don’t go in high winds like any ridge walks stay well under 30mph gusts 👍 stay safe ATB Trev

@@CLOCKCHASER2222 keep an eye on weather forecast I would use MWIS snowdonia, and check it just before you leave 👍 lightweight waterproof jacket and hat lightweight fleece just in case it’s chilly at top and share the load 😃

Enjoyed that guys , looking to do this in the next few weeks - just wondering what it’s like compared to Crib Goch? I’ve done Crib Goch last summer although my twin brother Simon backed out lol he wants to do Tryfan with me but he needs some reassurance it will be ok? LMK your though cheers Mark 👍👌😁
@NorthwalesBushcrafters2 жыл бұрын
Tryfan is ok there is a good bit of scrabbling nothing to difficult just make sure weather conditions are in good form don’t go with high winds and set off early to give you maximum hours of daylight, if you do north ridge you can come back down via llyn bochclwydd or if not north face try heather terrace that’s a lot easier 👍👍 have fun
