Eugene's looks the most high-concept but honestly? Ned's work was INCREDIBLE! Dude created his own pattern and it looked amazing! As a fashion design student, I'm so impressed with Ned! He did a corset look with boning with grommets, like that takes a long time. He also did so well in sewing because he flipped it and the seam on the waist looked good. He did a layering with a chiffon on top of a plaid fabric. He was so creative with the accessories and made a print on the fly. That was all in 3 hours which is mind blowing! So proud of Ned! Omg I never gotten so many likes on a comment before lol Thanks everyone!

I'm so impressed with Ned's dress. It really came out the way he envisioned. So much respect to Ned for always growing and trying. I really feel like Ned's such an underdog in the Try Guys and I love seeing him in every episode.

Ned has always leaned into more by the book creations, as in he always makes technically proficient but not very creative builds, and this one is just... it's amazing. It's extremely well done, and it just completely nails the look. Eugene's look more elegant, and his natural flair as well as build makes it stand out more, but this was definitely Ned's cake to take.

Kinda yeah... Double sided tape is emergency tool for fixing loose seams in the runaways. It can be removed and stitched properly after. Hot glue ruins the fabric and some fabrics can even burn due to it.

I know it's a cliche at this point for all these competitions and Euguene did look great, but Ned won this one for me. The back was so ambitious and he pulled it off, loved that he went in and added all the detailing on the top, and he actually FELT great in it too, like, iconic. yeah, i was pretty disappointed. Eugene made something really cool and creative, and it looked good. But Ned made something really inspired and personal and pulled off some advanced construction that no one expected from him. I really feel like Ned put his all into it, and it paid off. Eugene's was versatile and gorgeous, but I feel like Ned pulled off his exact vision. Eugene added the cape/hood last moment, and that is what cinched his win. Ned had a complete idea from beginning to end and he did it well, with almost no compromises. I think Ned was the real winner here.

I feel like Ned should have won!! He had a plan from the start, executed it almost to perfection, was very ambitious with his patterns and embellishments, and looked awesome!! Eugene's dress fell a little short and the zipper part did not look like it was sewn correctly and the cape part looked very last-minute put together. Also he lacked creativity by only having 1 fabric and no embellishments other than the cape. I mean it's pretty cool, but ned had a corset, ribbing, a belt, a sheer skirt overlay, and personalized text on the top??? no contest for me. also just wanna say I LOVE LOVE LOVE Kelsey's dress from the front and her awesome DIY mask, it was kind of a nightmare from the back angle though haha and Zack's was ... good effort

I disagree. In Without a recipe he has more experience baking/cooking and still does the most boring, most basic things knowing creativity is always part of the judging. He got mad he couldn’t use floor dough in one episode and he tried digging through the trash to fish out his cookie batter in another one for crying out loud As for this challenge. Hammering grommets isn’t hard, I don’t sew and can do it and using double sided tape is no different than using hot glue. His dress was ugly (which goth/rock is my normal aesthetic) and ill fitting. It might have been better if he’d actually done the pleats because when he explained his concept I thought the idea was great but the execution just wasn’t it. I actually thought the girls dress was cuter and Eugene’s dress looked stunning on him and was a much better fit. I actually think Ned does better than he should in the majority of the competitions.
