Really glad I found your page. Makes it much easier to have straight-forward guidance when you get stuck on some of these things. i have a problem when i make a dir. in tmp after that we mount it but when i try to go inside the cappucino it's freezes and it's so slow that i can't even do ls -la so can you tell me what is the problem also i can do do everything in thm attack machine ...is it my internet or is it nfs i am using kali by the way...i hope you reply to this coz i couldnt get answer to this anywhere

thanks mate, my hash didnt work when i tried to use john has i got this error message: using dfault input encoding: UTF-8, no password hashes loaded (see FAQ) but meh anyways i was able to do most of the challenges, thaks!

hi, I stuck on task 4, just nothing happens after ./bash -p. Have you any advise?

Same It shows permissions denied

@@Svhj579 'use chmod +x bash' then follow Richard from 13:07. I used 'sudo chown root bash' because i was getting permission denied.

instead of (sudo chmod +s bash ) the permission is x, so for instance i used (sudo chmod +x bash) and it will appear in the terminal "-rwSr-Sr-x". sorry for the wack explanation im just a begginer but it worked for me
