I'm a competitive player, whether or not I'm good is up to interpretation. I have jump on X because it's the default setting and it's what I'm used to. I also have jump on a shoulder button but I only use it for specific tech.

I think having both a face jump button and shoulder button is good depending on what tech you use. For example, I find it easier to time jumping C4 bomb with toon link using the face jump button and my brother prefers the face jump button for Lucas' double jump cancel zair. But now that I think about it, a shoulder jump button gives you more control in a lot of situations. Just do whatever you are comfortable with as long as it's not holding you back

I play claw so I don't need a shoulder button jump. I use L to airdldge and R to shield, with z for grab.

@@fiendfi7119 Haha, I just realised I don't even use R anymore. I used to when I didn't play claw grip, but ever since I changed to claw grip it's all been on L. I used to have 2 different buttons because I just couldn't get my muscle memory to have one button for airdodge and shield. When I used claw, R became too hard to reach, so I just naturally shifted to using L for everything

I've been an incineroar main since around when banjo released and the lowest I killed someone with revenge was 15% I was fighting an inkling revenged a splat bomb and they went from 15% to 90% and died from mid stage off the wide and the lower I killed without revenge was 20% my cousin was playing bayo tried to recover jumped into my f smash and died at 20%
