Okay here are the items you had.... All ethnic cuisines in Manipur/Kangleipak: 1. The first fish Curry is called Nga Atoiba(Fish Stew) 2. The big chick of fish is another dish made with deep fried fish in light gravy (Nga Matum Thongba) 3.The Dal like dish is called Ooti(Pease stew) 4. The Chutney is Mustard and Chilly sauce. 5. The baby shrimps also Classic called Khajing fried with Chives. 6. The spicy salad is called Singjoo.. Vegetables with dry fish and some. Ghost Chilli(Umorok) 7. The dark and browny item is fish Gizzard with vegetables (Ngarinkha Ngouba) 8. The slimy item besides Ooti is Assorted vegetable Stew.

that spiciness is normal here. People even take raw chilli while eating to add the hotness 😂😂 2:59 that is 'uti' made with beans mostly with baking soda 3:19 with the shrimps that is 'kangou' means fried with oil 3:39 that is 'nga ataoba' nga means fish in Manipuri and that is a fried fish being cooked again 3:58 that is 'makok maru ngouba' means fried fish head with potatoes and others 5:28 that is 'singju' mixed vegetables with many spices,there are different types of it and its like an evening snack here. 30+ years ago I had banana leaf curry in Thailand, only it was on a dirt floor on mats, and the leaves weren’t trimmed on top of plates. Not quite as many dishes, but more food. A memorable meal for sure!

Car insurance for average sedan per month is $400 CAD. The only thing that is cheap here, in terms essentials, is the water and electricity. Even our gas is, if not for COVID-19, hitting close to $2 CAD per litre. And our property tax is even crazier. And the current minimum wage is only around $14 CAD a hour.

Here we have petrol and price Rs 87 per litre... If you are earning a salary of Rs 50000 a monthly which will be 900 dollars approximate in your money .. thats a good salary here and you can live comfortable life..

That’s how they eat in southern India too with the banana leaf. The food is served on a Banana when you go to restaurants, special occasions like festivals and weddings. Not when you eat food at home.

One of the reasons why it's helpful to eat Indian food with your hands is when you're eating fish you can feel for the bones and sort them out before putting them in your mouth. Moreover, you should mix up your rice with the curry sauce properly. Just eating white rice tastes bland.

Imphal is famous for the fish thalis. I guess this is near Polo Ground. Try Luxmi kitchen, find it using Google maps. 12 dish thali for 150 rs.

The "musty" black dish is a delicacy made from fish head+cleaned intestines+potatoes +chilli+fish eggs(optional). The one that made you teary is called "singju": any seasonal vegetables+a pinch of fermented fish+lots of hot chilli! We like to eat lots of chilli and fish! Hope you didn't have a stomach upset in the morning! 😄😄

Mr Bald the strange blacky thing that you ate is called Ngarinkha. It is deep fried mixture of fish's bony stuffs with potatoes. And the hot stuff is called Singju. It is a mixture of cabbages, Vegetables leaves, beans, besan,etc with a lot of hot chilli spices....i love watching you eat our foods. Thanks Mr. Bald!!!

@@roy_ishere Actually it depends. In ceremonial occasions where you must feed many people, I have seen cooks deep fry all the stuff from fish - head, guts and bones, and then mix those with fried vegetables. Home-cooking style may avoid deep frying.

That's my hometown you are visiting. People are really nice out there and you will not find beggars or random person following you around trying to make you buy their stuffs unlike most part of India.
