I just recently lost my 14 year old little brother to cancer n he loved fishing I fish for the both of us now n I know he’s smiling every time I land a fish. I’m really glad I saw this comment because although it’s terrible to lose a loved one I’m happy to know that others have gone through the same and are able to cherish their loved ones memories. I really needed this

I don't own one but I did get to play with one about 3 months ago. I found that when you put a Fusion 19 weighted wacky hook you can get a killer presentation. If you fish it kinda like a drop shot it really gets em stirred. I also used a 3ot worm hook, it doesn't limit the body action. The reason I don't own one. I haven't been able to find any now that everyone has found out how wicked they work. I've been slinging a Bellow's Gill for a while now and love how it works

My 2 favorite lakes I fish are absolutely slammed with blue gills....I'll have to give this one a go for sure. The action looks awesome. Has anyone else had good results with it? I know Edwin had good results with it but he's a pro, he could catch a bash with a piece of cut up flip flop and hooks.

I love the gilly. And the hollow pocket in the top gives you endless possibilities of ways to fish it. Even with a nail weight in its chin to get down deep. Throw a disposable ear plug in that Hollow pocket on top get it to float while drop-shotting. In my end of p.a. we dont have shad so these are the deak

Really cool to see another natural bait on the market. Learned years ago to make it look realistic on high pressure lakes. Been catching bigger fish too! Love the videos.
@The_Mortgage_Angler2 жыл бұрын
I have to say im impressed. One thing I've learn with lures in general is they can work in any situation , but my experience with gilly so far is during spawn and pressured fish, works amazing. Just up to the angler imagination and putting it to work. I'm going to be using this more. Great video Evers!

Heck yeah thank you brother I just finally broke down and bought a pack of these today I was struggling with the rigging I had a 5/0 on the 110 I dropped to a 3/0 ewg and I also put a 1/32 nail weight in the belly it runs like a champ
@terrydodson98362 жыл бұрын
The action looks spot on. I will have to get a couple of packs and give them a try. Been fishing with swimbaits for years, some will just produce much better than others. With them skipping like you showed the will make a huge difference. Because most bluegill style swimbaits want allow you to do that.

Looks like it will be fun. With this bait. I personally would like to see some trails shoreline fishing alot of us don't have boats. Also what do you do with all the extra rods you have I'm sure you go thru "a million rods a year lol" then the next season you get the newest gear your rod company of choice gives you your new rods or you obtain whatever new ride you like from whatever maker or your personal brand. Was wondering whatever happens to the old rods cuz you see a ton on your back shot just standing around there's no way you go through them right and I see like with Milliken Milliken fishing he speaks of what rods he likes to take to certain tournaments and what rods he rather use over and over again even though a newer rod will come out which he has his own line of rods as do you do you donate them to the you know like the boys and girls club and things like that I know I rambled on I apologize Thanks.

how do you rig the 90? because the small ewg hooks don’t look like they will hook well. i was also curious if the straight shank he uses in the video would work by itself without a drop shot rig.
