TRYING A CAMPING OVEN FOR THE FIRST TIME

This camping trip was exciting! I went back to the woods to look for more mushrooms and was lucky to find some chanterelles! I made small mushroom pies and some garlic bread. I got to try the Omnia oven (not sponsored lol) for the first time finally! I've wanted to try it for so long and wow... It worked sooo well! I'm amazed.

Very nice. We use what we call a Dutch oven in camp. The stovetop sort is essentially a large cast pot with lid. Some use a ring pan inside the oven to improve surface to volume ratio. That ring pan with diffuser looks very interesting.

Hey Linnie! That was a fun trip, we are also camping and leaving early for work in the AM haha. Lovely song by the way that was nice :) and how you yeeted that bug...I laughed in person haha so a few ideas and if you choose one I can give you a really good recipe. Why don’t you look into getting a camper that goes in the bed of your truck. I lived in one for 3 years back when I first started driving a truck. My boss let me stay on his property and even use his address. I’m not talking about a 50,000 unit but just something you can stand up in. You already have everything you need.
