Trying a New Method to Varnish my Paintings (FAIL)

Today I'm trying a new method to varnish my painting that I just sold! I wanted to try the wipe method instead of using a paint brush because I wanted to avoid any brush strokes from painting on the varnish.

I wanted to suggest Baumgartner Restoration KZbin Channel, yes it is restoration base, however he has some art saving techniques. Watching his videos helped me find a good restoration artist for my dad's collected art pices. This is just some Internet Auntie advice😊, you did a good job on your beautiful works. I was nervous for you. Thank you for the varnish idea. Why not use a spray bottle. I'm gonna try this with my pieces as well. I also would use the spray can varnish. Beautiful peace.

I think diluting it with water is what made it a fail. Thank you for posting. I'm a beginner but I've been using varnish by itself.

Try the squeegy method. It's works better.

I know you said that you need a ventilated area, but if spraying is your favorite method and you feel like those spray cans aren’t doing much for your paintings I recommend using a HVLP spray gun yt-201 it works GREAT for me! I wait about 30 min between coats and 1 coat usually gets the job done but I do 2. Love your work btw. Do you print your own stickers?

You are a very talented artist but more important than that you are an excellent businesswoman. I am an artist also but a terrible businesswoman. I never know what to charge and sold for too little. I watched a ton of KZbin videos on how to price your art. How do you decide on you prices?

Maybe try running an air purifier before and while doing the varnish to help with the particles in the air?
