It looked like the file was stopping because it wasn't locked in place. I wonder if you either really had to push it hard into place or if that gold part was meant to be screwed round more. Hard to believe they can get away with selling something that doesn't work on even the most basic level regardless of how cheap it is. Also I was looking for beginner sets on amazon and the description for the lamp said to make sure to use an a2 adapter. That's for the uk so idk what the equivalent would be for the US. I'm guessing it is an energy issue that the lamp didn't work because the USB just isnt powerful enough but I'm scratching my head as to why they'd include one in that case lol.

Ohhhhhh girl......that kit seems like a whole lot of hassle! In this case I'm gonna say quantity doesn't equate to quality. I bought one of those hand drills a few years back when I started doing my own nails and NEVER AGAIN! The vibration was so strong and uncomfortable and I burned myself several times on it. Yours kept turning off because the bit wasn't all the way locked, but half the time it doesn't lock and it's just a feat of magic when it does LOL! In my experience all those $20 or less drills are the same. Save yourself money and just get something decent off the bat. I paid about $50-$60 on Amazon for the drill I have now, and I actually really like it. I've been using it constantly for 2 years with no issues. It's super smooth with no uncomfortable vibration, it's strong, it has forward and reverse, and you can use a foot petal if you want with it. The brand is Madenia. When this dies I'll get the Melody Susie or Kiara Sky drills that are rechargeable, but for now I just can't justify it since this one works so well. Anyway I absolutely love your thorough reviews and product knowledge. I can always tell you take the time to research things such as RPM's and why and how something should work or be done, and you're not just making things up as you go LOL!!!!!
@vicsnailtips3 жыл бұрын
Yes the kit was so problematic! That’s a good way to put it... quanity doesnt always equate to quality. Anything geared towards beginners should definitely be of quality and easy to use since they already have their lack of experience to work against! & when it comes to drills, i agree that you shouldnt cut corners. Its one of those things where you get what you pay for. I love that you shared your drill and your experience with it so others have some direction when getting a drill. My next drill will be the kiara sky drill. I almost bought it two days ago but wasnt ready to fork up $300+ 😭. And thank you for always commenting, I look forward to them. They’re always so kind ❤️
@katrinasheets29973 жыл бұрын
@@vicsnailtips absolutely agree with you! Beginners should definitely NOT start out with a super inexpensive drill like that.....way too dangerous especially when trying to learn how to use it. I really want the Kiara Sky cordless drill too! But like you I just haven't convinced myself to spend that much when the one I have works so well. I just finished removing an old set a few minutes ago and I it only took a few minutes, so for now I'll keep using it. Oh you're so sweet and I'm so glad my crazy comments don't bug you! ❤❤❤❤

@katrinasheets29973 жыл бұрын
@@АнжелаОганесян-ч4у I'm so sorry but I can't answer this question as I've never used this brand. But because Vic had so many issues with this particular kit, I probably wouldn't recommend it. There are so many other brands that are fairly inexpensive that I would recommend instead: Makartt has a great top and base coat, Modelones is nice. My personal favorite is Young Nails brand and you can get that from their website or Amazon. Hope this helps you!
