You can put clear nail polish on the inside of the rings to prevent your skin from turning green. You can do it for earrings also.

Regarding the lamp with "no cord", I'm getting really annoyed at how many products are coming out with short (less than 20" long) USB cords like we're expected to have a laptop nearby. In my case, the only device in my craft room with a USB port to charge the nail lamps is an iMac with the USB ports on the back. So am I supposed to buy a hub to sit on the desk? Am I supposed to buy a power strip with USB ports on it and mount it to the desktop? Or build a little shelf above the power outlet where I can set the device while it charges? Jeesh.
