I was literally praying to God that plz come to Kerala and when u announced that u r going to Kerala as well I jumped in joy 😊 Sadly I am not in Kerala But if I was in Kerala I would have tried to meet u for sure ^ _ ^ But I can tell u some foods that r my favorite😍 Appam with mutton curry, chicken curry, egg curry and potato stew. Please post the location of yr homestay everytime u go anywhere. The green prickly veggie is called ishkoosh in nepali. It is also called chayote and squash in english. It is versatile vegetable and one can it either boiled or stirfried. The ones that get alot of sunshine come out really tasty. The green tendrils and shoots of the plant too are tasty when lightly stirfried.

in thakali you ate that seeds and leave its actually calle gundruk and bhatmas and gundruk isactually made of saag dried and it is very famouse in nepali .
