Please post the location of yr homestay everytime u go anywhere. The green prickly veggie is called ishkoosh in nepali. It is also called chayote and squash in english. It is versatile vegetable and one can it either boiled or stirfried. The ones that get alot of sunshine come out really tasty. The green tendrils and shoots of the plant too are tasty when lightly stirfried.

Your food series are always so nice and delicious😋 I love your vids.I watched ur Untried nepali noodles for 24 hrs and when u said that ur going to South India.. I was literally praying to God that plz come to Kerala and when u announced that u r going to Kerala as well I jumped in joy 😊 Sadly I am not in Kerala But if I was in Kerala I would have tried to meet u for sure ^ _ ^ But I can tell u some foods that r my favorite😍 Appam with mutton curry, chicken curry, egg curry and potato stew. (You can choose the curry) Puttu with Kadla (Chana) Curry. Iddiappam with Egg curry. Parippu curry (Dal)with rice. Payasam . Banana fritters. in thakali you ate that seeds and leave its actually calle gundruk and bhatmas and gundruk isactually made of saag dried and it is very famouse in nepali . There are all desert plant in her nursery and the small plants which priya di was unable to identify is 'succulent' this species of plant are delicate and it is a arduous task for taking care of them cause they die if any kind of activity happens with them.
