I've been buying from awesome books for a couple of years and I love it! I honestly don't mind at all that they are used books im happy to give a book a second home and also the prices are amazing! The only thing about awesome books is that they don't have the greatest or biggest selection of books, I've tried searching for some books and they don't have them, also totally agree with you about the website and search engine although they updated and its much much better now compared to last year

I don't ming used books but I need to either be able see them myself to inspect them or need a few good detailed pictures. Have had bad experiences with buying used books both in person and online just to later realize they were rather nasty (like old food and stuff in the pages etc...). So I'm just not trusting enough anymore.

Já encomendei 2 vezes e adoro!! Da ultima vez comprei os livros todos de harry potter super cheap (feliz por não contribuir diretamente para a fortuna da autora 😌). A encomenda deve ter-se perdido e devolveram-me o dinheiro, mas acabaram por chegar em 2 meses mais ou menos (foram de graça). Eles são incríveis, se receberes um livro muito mal tratado, quase sempre devolvem o dinheiro ou enviam outra cópia sem custos extra :) E também já cheguei a receber vários livros "usados" praticamente intocados! Só é pena a demora das encomendas, mas com estes preços nem dá para reclamar ahaha Ansiosa para o próximo vídeo 💞

Yes!! I'm so happy you liked the experience! Awesomebooks never disappoints. The books can come pretty dirty though but I find that alcohol mixed with water or just alcohol on a cotton pad or a cloth will clean the covers very well (the alcohol evaporates quickly so it doesn't usually damage the covers) 💜💜

Awesomebooka is my fave site to shop, I agree their search is not the best and the site is especially slow on mobile but nothing beats those prices. I also use my wishlist to see when books are back in stock etc :D

I've also used Abe Books in the past and they sell new and used books, however the shipping rates depend on the individual seller selling each book

I found out AwesomeBooks shortly after BookDepository, so I've been using it for a while and I love it, I never really had any problems!! The thing with AB is that they say all the books are in good enough condition, and if we receive a book that we can't possibly read we can always return it, but that will always depend on what someone, personally, thinks is acceptable. :/

I have tried awesomebook in the middle of January and unfortunately on the day I decided to buy the order they stopped the shipping to Jordan 🇯🇴 so I emailed them to ship the orders to my brother on united Emirates they were very kind and agree but the ship never arrived! That was maybe the blocking problem around the world 🌎 of course they refund me but I was so sad because I really was looking for those book🥺

Eu costuma encomendar antes do Brexit, mas agora não sei como estão as coisas, se vale a pena e se vai ficar na alfândega. :/ E reparei que os preços de envio estão mais caros para Portugal (£4.99 em vez de £2.99) mas para ''Europe'' continua igual., não percebi porquê. Olá!! Não comprei ainda este ano no site, mas já ouvi dizer de outras pessoas que os preços estão mais caros para envio e que os livros demoram mais tempo a chegar, mas que continuam a enviar para cá!! Acho que se for uma compra muito grande, tipo mais de 20€, pode ficar preso na alfandega e tens de pagar para os tirar de lá!
