I worked in TP a few years ago and tried almost everything..including the coffee shops opposite TP 😂. Halfway the Flavours canteen rennovated and all the stalls were gone (Nasi Padang, Chicken Rice, Yong Tau Foo were very popular and it was very difficult to find seats). Engineering Canteen Western's scrambled eggs is also very popular, it's cooked like the Gordon Ramsay runny kind, people always like to add /swap out the sides with scrambled eggs.

Useful video for when I go to work at TP tomorrow. Ben & Randy, I recommend you to try the food from SHATEC (Sapling), ITE CCK (Chez West-open in Jan), and Assumption Restaurant for training, they are cheap, "coursed" meals.

I think ban mian have same two stores in TP , one in Business side and other in engineering side, and i always often eat them for my dinner. Oh No, the nasi briyani, Western,Zhu Chao and yong tau fu store in IT canteen is gone, that was one of the popular one that many staff/students went to before covid strikes in my 3rd year :( Glad that the western store in engineering still exist, Spicy Nugget for the win!!

Food places around polytechnics, ITEs and universities are usually opened for all. Areas that are not accessible to public (such as Classrooms, libraries - some institute) are pass-protected, meaning you can't access without a student/staff pass.
