Trying Bigen Powder Hair Dye- My FIRST time!!!

Hey everyone! I decided to try out Bigen powder hair dye today! I’ve never used a powder hair dye before, so it was a brand new experience! Bigen is permanent hair dye & ammonia free that claims full gray coverage, let’s see what happens!!!

Good job Theonie..It looks good to me. Boy it's that easy in dying hair since I have never dyed mine before. At 53yrs of age i only have a few grey highlights since my hair is a natural Auburn..my mother never dyed her hair she didn't go all grey at 80 when she passed away 15yrs ago.i guess it's the American Indian blood we have or I must have good genes... I noticed u have thin hair start eating more protein like chicken eggs etc ..mine was getting thin then I started eating more proteins it has been helping me alot. It looked like a dark chocolate brown to me:). Thought it looked great:). Can’t wait to see it dry! I dyed my hair for years but stopped in 9/-19 and I love my natural color-I did have some of the old left over brown lightened and had a silver toner put in-I love the color now. But the process u used looked quite easy and u don’t have much gray. I tried to color my hair twice and it came out orange so never tried to do it myself again! Show us when it’s dry:). ❤️💗

The color looks good on you. I use a different kind of Bigen speedy comes in 2 tubes. The Cream color and cream developer mixed it up. Gray coverage in just 10 mins. Works on me but have to keep up with it every 3-4 weeks cuz my grays keeps popping up 👩🏼‍🦳

I use the same product.. I have brown hair, and I use a copper blond color to cover all white and grey. This makes them like redish (a bit like henna red) highlights. This dye will not make your hair lighter in color, it can only make it deeper, that is why I choose a lighter color that will turn my greys in beautiful highlights but won't really change the still brown hair (although it makes it shiny and looking healthy). I love that it is super easy to use and permanent, without ammonia and peroxide..

Your hair looks amazinly beautiful as it was before meaning I never noticed any slight grey in certain areas. As long as you're the one happiest with the colour and the end result that's all that matters. Vasoline seems to have done it's job and not let any of the colour drip down your forehead and face. Again Theonie and Family you are very beautiful and attractive. You gave a very nice smile before ending the video... Says you love the outcome of colour.

I am seeing this video a couple of years later but I use the same product. I use number 47 I've been using it since I was about 23 back when I actually used it to darken my hair because the sun would put streaks in my hair that looked like bleach streaks but now that I'm older of 55 I use it for the obvious reasons and I still love it it gives my hair a nice rich darkness that doesn't look dyed but it does get darker as it sits on the hair..

Next time use a detangling comb. When the hair is wet,especially after a chemical process, it's easier on the hair.....less breakage, less "fallout" :)

Hey! I just watched your video bc I've been using WaterWorks for so long and I thought maybe I'd try Bigen to cover grey roots. It works in the exact same way - powder add water. I found that the longer I had the dye on it turned basically black no matter what shade of brown I used. So I recommend doing the treatment for less time and more frequently (I really can't get past week three without feeling self-conscience of my greys). For what it's worth you look great with dark hair! Brings out the eyes :).

I would be scared crapless to try something like that. I buy the same brand of color and the same shade every time. Don't you have a hair coloring raggy t-shirt. I have one I've used for about 10 years with stains all over it. It turned out good and looks like it covered the grey.

Bigen has been around for ages! My mom still uses it to this day, she's in her 60's and as a former hairstylist and barber I used to help her with the application... Up here they carry the kind that's in a tube, so there's no mixing with water or anything. But what I find so annoying is that you have to allow it to set for a century before it takes... my mom doesn't mind though, lol... Not me! On the rare occasion that I dye my beard black again, I use my Just For Men and I'm done within 10 minutes tops, LOL:) But I think when your hair is dry and if you're in natural light, you will see the real color.

Bigen has different formulas. The Speedy Conditioning Color takes 10 minutes to color. They also have formulas for men called EZ Color that takes 5-10 minutes..depending on how dark you want it. My only issue with Bigen is that no matter what color you get..with the exception of their extremely light colors..they always turn out dark brown or black.
