I think the bubbles are cute enough, but I wouldn’t go through the trouble of making them. I would definitely buy if there’s ever a press on version. Yours look bomb ❤

I love both colors! 💙💜 But my opinion is that these are the kind of nails that look awesome in pictures but are more trouble than they're worth to recreate lol. As you were talking about how bulky some of these nails can be, i was reminded of those nails that were so popular that had the angel paper and iridescent chrome powder. Really pretty to look at but waaaay too thick in actuality. Thank you for working so hard to figure this out for us though! 💖💖💖😘😘😘

I’ve found another method I like in addition the the needle option… The shell of the gel blob (on nail) is cured for a bit longer to make it hard enough that u can press down on it & squeeze out some of the uncured gel…that creates a vacuum that fills with bubbles! Pinching the sides of the shell bring it back to bubble shape & since there’s still uncured gel underneath its able to reseal the edges during final cure.

Love how hard you worked at this, I like this kind of bubble nail art because they are smooth, I don't care for the 3d bubbles.

I like your second method of adding the bubbles directly to the nail vs making them in the dual form. Less bulky and looked smoother! ❤

Absolutely beautiful as always. You do beautiful work. Can you try to put bubbles in a darker color bc I’m not a big fan of the transparent color bc you can see the original nail. I like the darker colors bc of the fact the original nail is not showing as much. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful artistic work with us. ❤️😍💅

I think these types of designs come from Korea and I'm not a big fan of their designs because nails are always bulky and don't seem balanced. I love that you tried to make them look elegant. The only thing I do like from Korea is 3d art in some parts of the nails, as long as they don't add volume on top. I think you can try to create some type of underwater design with this but could be too time-consuming. ❤

Kudos for all your efforts recreating this trend. As you emphasized, "this art" and like designer clothes there is a limited market. I think the bubble gel that can be purchased works great although the results are flat not dimensional. So, fun to experiment and thanks for checking these trends out for us!!

Hmm…once again the nail tech world decided to try selling a messed up poorly done nail as nail art. Pretty certain this came about because some techs just didn’t want to redo a bubble filled gel tip extension because it had too many bubbles in it. OPI created a nail polish years before gels came into to the scene called crackle polish. As the name suggests the polish when completed looked fully cracked as iff the polish was poorly applied by a 6 year old with jittery hands. I never bought it and when the supplier asked why I told them cause I’m trying to give my clients pretty elegant hands not look like they’ve been on a bender in Vegas and can’t remember their name. This isn’t something I feel is worth the time but if clients must have the latest “trend” you can absolutely charge for it as you should ALL nail art BY THE MINUTE so if it take an extra hour to do you make a decent wage for it.
