We've got something similar to the mixed fruit straws over here, though we call them sherbet straws. They come in coloured plastic tubes (the same colours as seen in the video actually!) with sealed edges, so you do need to cut one end off but then the sherbet just pours out, much easier to eat. :D
@Linzz_12132 жыл бұрын
Ooh! Which country does it come from? Seems’s interesting!
@ArtzyZero2 жыл бұрын
@@Linzz_1213 Well I'm from the UK but I wouldn't say it's a regional product as we've got plenty of brands over here. They're pretty common in "Pick 'n' Mix" shops. Which for a set price, usually under £3, lets kids (or adults) pick out a bunch of little penny sweets and put them in a cup/bag. But I think a better variation of the straws are Flying Saucers/Disks (I think they go by a few names) which are wafer disks (they look like classic UFO's) filled with sherbet, so you can eat them whole and there's less waste overall. ^-^

A candy that has such a sentimental candy to me would be those fizzy mini soda ones. I lived in colorado and every so often we would go to new mexico and stay with my cousins and visit my grandpa. There was a small little store that had i remember so clearly the layout, with a gas station and cheap candy. I would always get those fizzy candys. We called it the half way mark because it took about 4 hours to get there, and at about 2 hours in, we would see the store and know how much longer it was to go. We would always stop and get gas and i would pick up the soda candies. That has so much Nostalgia to me.

The ones with the balloons are such great deals! And welcome back to Malaysia. A word of advice from a local, do buy these goodies from these kinds of dollar stores (though here usually it’s RM2-RM2.30 than a ringgit) with caution. We do buy snacks and food items from these stores but usually sticking to the brands we know, or out of curiosity & willing to risk throwing them out if they are not palatable. More often than not, the off brands ones are not very good. But hey, they’re cheap, and sometimes fun (such as in the video)!
