Before COVID, most of the stalls here offer the staff price to everyone. Even brought an ang moh friend here before and still offered us the staff price. This freaking pandemic really changed everything 😅

As an airport staff myself - I'm feeling mixed feelings about the recent exposures about the staff canteens to the public. Even though the staff canteen is available for public, I feel like the staff canteens should be kept lowkey as this is the only few CHEAP options food available at Changi for us to eat daily during our hour break. By exposing the canteens to the public, it only caused longer queues and so many food are sold out quickly these days and queue so long......another factor is that there are many foreigners working around Airport with low pay and this place is the only few food options for them. Y'all are welcome to come but can at least dont come during the 11-3pm lunch hour pls 🫠

OMG I LOVEE THE MALA THERE. I used to work at airport and eat the mala there everytime, now that I don’t work at airport anymore, sometimes I still go to the staff canteen to eat coz it’s so good

Thanks for the recommendations, I used to go to Kopitiam at B2 (forogt which terminal) , the food there just okok, maybe can go try this foodcourt when I go back to hometown this week beforemy departure..❤ Btw i personally think that right, for those who are working at Changi, dont worry and pls dont blame Benranway as 就算they never expose the staff canteen, and public will still go there by looking at the signboard .. plus we public are not always go there for makan, somemore I am staying at the West😂... U should settle all terminal. T2 canteen across the street from mac tk lift to lvl 3m. T3 kopitiam located b2 and t4 kopitiam located lvl 2. T1 lucky u choose all the nice stall.

T1 and T3 are more easy to reach . T2 is too trouble , lift not reaching the floor , I only go they during off day. I working in Airport also .

As I used to work in changi airport during my school holidays, i found that most of the food is incomparable due to the prices i have seen in jewel, the koptiam at T3 and both staff canteens at T2 and 1. But nevertheless after much persuasive counts from my family, i decided to have my 1hr break at the staff canteen in T1. Hope this addresses to the public that the staff canteens we have here im changi airport are just as equally important to the staff and the public because when i head there most of the stalls are closed 😥

I think is the best place for people to fill their stomach before they board their flight but depending on their timing after they check in before their passport got chop but can i ask since it's the staff canteen how does the canteen stall people knows whether you're airport staff or members of public when ordering food?

It's open till late night (ie the drink stalls) but most of the stalls would be closed/already sold out by dinner

T1 and T2 close early , they also open early . Try T3 canteen at basement 2 . There also have many eateries around basement 2 , so if the canteen stalls are closed can choose other eateries. T3 canteen drinks stall open 24 hours !

they used singapore dollars. staff canteen rarely operate with foreign currencies. they might accept US dollar if you insist but dont expect USD change. ( the fees the money changer charges or depositing foreign currency into their accounts will have some currency exchange loss) you can give Brunei Dollars because Singapore has an agreement with Brunei.

google list the place open 5am till 9pm, but i expect more than half the stalls to close after 6/7pm like how the muslim aunty said her stall is already empty after lunch, it means she has a decent customer base for breakfast and lunch. after lunch, that stall will probably sell rice with side dishes while the staff preps ingredients for the next day.

It just goes to show the prices are marked up in the first place in other places just so they can fleece all the other visitors and travellers. If prices can be keep down in this canteen the same can be done for the rest too and the need to differentiate between staff and non staff personnel will not be needed.
