Trying Church...Again. Wild Lights At The Zoo! Fun With Family & Friends! Vlogmas Day 20!

So I survived Church, and I will be going for the Christmas Eve Service, but I'm not sure what we'll do after that. It's complicated.
But we did have a really good day all in all! Spending quality time with family and friends is one of my favourite things to do! Hope you are all doing well and staying safe!!! Sending you Christmas Hugs!!

Good morning, beautiful. Glad you got to go to church. When you said you were falling asleep, it reminded me of something that happened when I was a teenager. My dad insisted we go to church once in a while. My mother hated every minute of it. On Sunday, during a very LONG long sermon, my mother, who always put a roast in the oven before we left, decided to look at her watch. The minister caught her out of the corner of his eye and said loudly before the whole congregation you can stop looking at your watch, I am almost finished and Sunday dinner wiĺl be fine. My mother, feeling totally humiliated, never returned to church again. I'm glad Winnie has such positive male role models around her. They are not only teacher her what to look for in a man, but how she deserves to be treated. Kudos to Curtis, Skyler and Cooper. The lights were beautiful. I loved your church service...Reminded me of my church York Alliance. Formerly Christian Missionary Alliance...my story with church similar to yours in that we don't go very often any more due to somethibg that extremely hurt me! I loved going to the zoo with y'all. And was drinking my Coke Zero as you had your diet Coke. Oh Miranda if I wasn't 1400 miles away I would totally be Winnie's surrogate Grammy and take her for the day to give you and Curtis A break. Glad it went well with going to church! Haven't been since this craziness started, and who knows when we will go back. I miss it, watching it online just isn't the same. Even when our church was opened, it was just too many changes, didn't feel comfortable going plus there was no children church for awhile. Then when it was available a parent had to stay with them. Which I get it, but ugggg I miss church the way it used to me without these extra steps and precautions. 😩 your not the only one who fights to stay awake....my dad will tend to doze off too. Love love love the intro, they are all amazing but loved the compilation of videos. Christmas vacations are wonderful. I used to get a case of the giggles in church, so inappropriate but I couldn't stop nervous laughter. You did fine. My brothers sermons always made me 😴. The zoo oh the zoo, we too have lights at our zoo. They have hot chocolate stands and it's just a nice place to go see the lights. We also have something called "Lights in the Parkway", you drive through the parkway and all the Christmas lights are beautiful. So happy your sleepover went so well, its good you fell asleep first, you needed the rest. Excellent vlog beautiful Miranda. You looked stunning in black, your eyes looked beautiful and as always I just loved the pink cheeks. Your hair against black top was beautiful also. @@MirandaInCanada I was an elementary school nurse. One year we had an infestation, I had to go through all the kids hair. I had long hair to keep the kids laughing and not upset, I put one of my gloves over my hair and stretched the rest over my head. It's was something you just can't think about, everytime I thought about it I would feel like something was crawling in my hair. I found the family members 3 of them who were in my school, really infested. Their mom kept trying to send them back while they still had nits and the eggs clinging to the hair. I love how you switch up your intro’s!! They’re always great. When my kids were little we would drive the Fraser Canyon on the way to where we vacationed. There is a series of tunnels that you go through and my kids would yell Hi tunnel! And the tunnel would honk back 🙂 good memories!😘🇨🇦🥰. Love ya

I hear ya on that. In summer when we were allowed back into church I paced in the hallway because I can't sit still. I was there and I heard the message! We aren't attending right now because mom's worried about covid. 😷😟 Eventually covid will move on or disappear and we'll get together again!💜😀

Great intro..... I haven’t heard about Magnetic Hill since I was in Grade 4, I remember being fascinated by it. Happy you made it through church. Today is Dec freaking 21st, the first day of winter. I love Swiss Chalet. I enjoy the zoo although I feel bad for the animals in captivity, that hurts my heart. We were suppose to go into a provincial lock down on Thursday but it's now changed to boxing day. So for us, it will be 14 days but down south will be 28 days. It’s Christmas week!! I feel the same way for the animals, but also want my kids to learn about different species in other parts of the world that they would never see here! There weren’t very many animals out these days because of the weather. I’m glad they changed the lock down day until after Christmas for those families who need to be together! Hopefully no more covid cases will come from it!! We had a good day, yesterday! But we’re paying for it today with LICE!!! 😬👾😓 It’s been a busy day cleaning everything and chemicaling all the heads in the house with hair!!

I'm glad you made it through church safely. Ha I would fall asleep too. I haven't been to church since 2005. I watched enough 7th heaven to make up for it 🤣. As for Winnie throwing the water bottle an being hangry. Muffin throws pillows an stops her feet when she hangry 🤣🤣🤣 she also tries to take a chunk out of people who aren't her mommy. Haha Winnie could definitely come hangout with me we could craft and play dolls 😂😂 until muffin says otherwise [ she no really like kids cause when she lived with my mom the first 2 months of her life my nephews [4 Under the ages of 6 ] would be sooooo horrible Trying to scalpe her. Feed her to the big dogs. Not to mention my mom would throw her an be little her an spray her down with water ] so when my mom said she didn't want her puppy Gucci anymore. Something told me say yes i will take her. An the first 5 mins i had her she loved me an I gave her a better name which is preferred muffin lots more. An now she's a spoiled princess 😂 an the only time she gets in trouble if she been really EXTRA usually when she around her friend Smokey.

My awkward church story? Falling asleep? No trying fainting in church and coming to face down in some guy’s lap. Then have the lady behind me check I was ok and said she wasn’t sure and thought I was with the guy because I was down for a little while. Dear heavens above. Mortified. Lol
