To be honest, I don't think I've ever even heard about Xiao Long Bao before this video, but you made me crave it so much that I had to chase it down. I am from Shanghai. Dumpling Home is the most authentic XLB I've tried in SF, hands down. In South Bay, I-Shanghai Delight in Fremont has the best XLB and Shanghainese snacks in general.

Love the video. For fact checking, not all xiao long bao are supposed to have soup inside. The ones with soup are called 灌汤包, and special ingredients are added to the skin to make them stretchy. But I don’t think ppl don’t differentiating them in the US, at least not on the menu.
